I just put an inline meter on my sx350 chip and there is no voltage drop under load at all. Screen says its firing my .7 ohm build at 5.12 volts, voltage meter shows 5.2v. Something is a miss here, it is regulated and when it says its firing at 4.2 volts on the screen thats what should be coming up on the meter
The above is only 7 amps, well within it's capabilities, try a 0.2 Ω and report back

I wonder if it has reverse battery protection I know the real dna30 does not so I wonder if China tried to fix that or said frack it

It doesn't appear to have reverse battery protection.
If it did they would be saying it loudly

#1237 here, looks like the 3rd round blew up (I imagine there are orders for other things too though, but willing to bet it's a majority of clone orders). I ordered pretty much as soon as the 3rd round came back. I'm sure they'll get them out quickly though, this is a highly anticipated item. How many do you think they can mail out in a day?

I just hope they do it right. As a former warehouse employee I know it won't be easy. I'd like to think they have a few thousand labels and boxes ready to fly.

But that is such an easy fix for them....since this isn't a lipo device....it should have reverse battery protection for the love of god. All electronic devices with replaceable batteries have reverse battery protection.

I don't really see the big deal with reverse battery protection. All you have to do is pay attention when inserting the battery, which I realize is a huge thing to ask in the day and age of having to label coffee cups as being hot! The battery door screws down and it has an internal charger, so there shouldn't be a huge demand for swapping the battery out.

I swap out three Sony batteries a day minimum....the chances of making a mistake with flat top batteries is not beyond the realm of possibilities. I mean one mistake and your board is fried....that is why every single other VV device has it.

Good point that I over looked lol, I saw voltage drop and with the hotcig dna20 clone situation I was jumping to conclusions, I'm all screwed up now because I have a buck boost chip haha. However I accepted your challenge cause it made me curious, I get a .5 volt drop at .2 ohms at 30 watts and a .1v drop at .3 ohms at 30 watts on the sx350. I cant check a genuine dna30 for a few days until I have another mod completed because I sold both my personal dna20/30 and am now using this exclusively, great chip just wish it had power up/down buttons.

Best Review I've seen so far. Accurate info. I guess its a solid 510 pin though.... but I think that's enough info for me to judge this as a noteworthy device, cant wait to get mine!

For real. For me, it's case closed. I'm getting my $69 worth. Fires sub ohms, no seam, anodized, 30 watts. Done deal! Can't wait!

So after thinking about it...
.5-.6 is when you'll get an accurate wattage reading. I think it's doing 40watts on the.3ohm at 3.5v which is almost 12amps. So I'm assuming that a little over.5 would be accurate when it says 4v +>.5 would be about 30watts so with lower resistance it seems to be dependent on amp limits rather than voltage limits.

Idk for sure but will be looking into this further when I receive mine. Not a complaint but may be why it reads 4.2 but is firing at 3.5. It's looking well worth the $70 regardless IMHO. Let's not nitpick it guys, if you're getting one be happy, if you can't be happy about it cancel your order. But I know I can't wait!

Seriously. 70 bucks, not much to complain about. Oh I mean nothing to complain about.

I'm excited.

illvapes review

wonder why every review so far is from a silver hana modz clone....

They probably sent out all samples to vender's the same color so there was nobody complaining about what color they got because they all came the same... meh it doesn't bother me but i would of liked to have seen some of the other color's but I can wait for that part.
