So, it looks like I'll need to immediately buy a new 510 connector when I get my mod. I'll also probably start looking for a real DNA30 chip as well.

Worst case scenario is that the mod shorts and fries, in which case I gut the thing, replace the 510 connector with a much better one, wire in the real DNA30 chip, and I've got a real DNA30 device that looks and functions almost exactly like the real hana modz V3, and all for less than $140. That's still a steal compared to the original.

This place seems to have them in stock more frequently than other vendors....

I don't think there is any cause for concern and I don't see any proof of Elev8 lying in what you've stated. It seems you've got a weekend plus USPS processing time there. USPS doesn't scan items into their system as soon as they receive them. I've shipped things out myself where I've handed it to the postal worker at the counter in the morning and the tracking isn't updated until a day or two later. 48 hours before an update seems more than possible. Glass half full. :2c:

You ship things priority that don't move for 2 days and aren't scanned into the system? Why do you pay for priority then? USPS doesn't take 2 days to "process" a priority mail package. When it gets to a post office, it gets an origin scan. They didn't ship it until today.

Welcome to my world...every time I order something online, I have to wait between a week to 10 days (sometimes longer) to get it. The benefits of working for the military at an overseas location...

Sorry, not "everyone" can see it. Maybe I'm the only one, but Hana has every right to defend their trademark and their product. As has been pointed out in this thread several times by others, a failure to defend an owner's trademark could possibly lead to loss of their trademark.

I also find it interesting that many here have suggested that the loss of Hana as a company would be no problem, but poor little counterfeiting Illvapes should be protected from big, bad Hana.

Yep, IP theft is never okay, and every single clone, logo or not, represents IP theft. It's important for stands to be made where possible against this.

I wonder if there is any way to adjust the positive post an the Aerotank?

I'm pretty sure you can. I think it's as easy as removing the head from the base and simply pushing on the pin with a pair of needle nose pliers.

However, even if it is adjustable I don't think it will work for most people. The pin in the Aerotank base is a solid pin. If you force the pin down to make a connection with your mod then the atomizer head may not touch it and it won't fire. You're just trading one bad connection for another.

Considering I do still use an Aerotank on occasion I would like to see this issue fixed before I get my mod near the end of this month. If it isn't then I'll probably just buy a new 510 connector when I buy the mod and swap them out first thing.

Ya, I have had them bookmarked for a while incase I ever needed a real deal dna chip. I have been thinking about making a dna30 mod but I already made a sx350 and love it so much. I am in process of getting parts for next one. Going to be hopefully 6400mah lipo, with a shapeways lid

The button update as well as update for 40 watts is supposedly coming the 15th of this month. So I am going to be ready with my parts to build this. Going to be so nice.

Sorry damnit off topic. Anyways I will get a real dna from that same link you posted if I have to replace it in my clone but I forsee getting the old stuff pulled outta there not easy as it's epoxy'd in there.
