Why can't ya drill a hole.... I'm gonna after I get thru doing a review and testing on it...???
Unless you gut the entire compartment I think it's too risky. you would either catch a corner of the circuit board or damage one of the wire insulators. I just wonder why Cloupor kept the feature but didn't follow thru with the view hole.

Idk for sure but maybe the example coupor had was an early release of the v 3, without the hole

Got my red round 3 from 101vapes today and it's amazing. My only gripe is that the screws were a pain. I found the right screw driver for it though and now it works fine. Idk about the green light yet because I put a fully charged vtc4 in it. Overall its good quality and the voltage is right on the money. I did some math and the voltage it reads is pretty spot on.

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, they sell a precision screwdriver set for electronic devices for around $4 or $5. It comes with a bunch of little attachments and one of the Phillips head attachments worked really easily with the screws in the Hana I received from Elev8.

Received my black no-logo yesterday, I love it. Only problem I had with it was the bottom screw was on WAYY too tight and it took me a while to figure out how to get it off, ended up using a eyeglass repair screwdriver and a pair of pliers lol. was really worried about stripping it or something. So far so good though. On rip trippers review he was saying a big con of it was how when it goes into sleep mode you have to press the button and wait a few seconds before you can fire it but mine fires right up no problems. I'm kind of wondering if the one I got from A to Z vapor world labeled as a 'genome 30' is not from cloupor and actually from a different manufacturer. I doubt it though.

I am kind of iffy on the built in charger though.. I just don't trust it. I really don't want to keep having to take the battery out and charging it on my regular charger.. so if anyone can comment on how well the built in one works that'd ease my mind a little lol. I've also heard that it's a bad idea to screw and unscrew it a lot because it will destroy the threading..

Morning coffee and a vape.... using the clone.....after a hour of running it my review will be brief... not gonna spend any time in lengthy testing since mine has the same issues as has been said already....enclosure looks real good... gonna spend my time replacing the guts with real DNA and charger board and etc.....just so it will operate like my host of dna's operate.. just me and as long as everybody is satisfied with theirs that's all that matters..not trying to be confrontational but my opinion is that China failed on this one but my opinion and 2 bucks gets me a cup of coffee and probably a few comments...have a great day ALL and pulling for California Chrome.....

Edit:... I will mention one issue only because I don't recall if it has been posted previously...

When coming out of sleep mode the wattage setting has moved down by .1 watt and moved down by .1 watt each time I come out of sleep mode. This occurs even if the wattage setting is in power lock mode...if I missed this being posted previously just chaulk this up as a double post...

Can you elaborate on why you think china failed? Im not opposing you... just curious. Hopefully others wont skew your response.

Im glad to see you are enjoying the enclosure, as that was the primary selling point IMO. I have more of these coming... im planning on using them as is for casual vaping, and using the one I already have to rebuild with chips that are released in the future :) frankly I just enjoy the case design!

I have used DNA's for years and am accustomed to just vaping them and not having to deal with the "issues" of the clone I have. It's just the way I vape... I can pick up any of the many, many devices and they all work exactly the same...The clone departs from that thus FOR ME the clone fails. For me, needing to "multiple click", "reset the wattage every time it comes out of sleep", be careful with the poor 510 atty connector so it won't short, and etc. is something I don't care to deal with so the easiest way to get what I want is just to install the internals that will get me to where I want to be...kinda like juice selection....if you don't like the taste then you find one you like...I will end up with what I want.. a nice enclosure with the internals that provide what I want...thats all...

Hopefully that answers your question...

Looks good ;) Ordered the same colour (or color) and same wraps too. The Jwraps landed but still waiting on the cana30. I ordered the Hana v3 wraps but reading a post on here about size difference ordered the clone v3 wrap. Just measure them out and the wraps are exactly the same. So either I have 2 sets of Hana v3s or 2 of the clone???

@ bryyyan which wraps did you get, it looks a nice clean fit

this is my first vw mod and am quite pleased, as I have nothing to compare it to With my programming background, the ultimate for me would be if someone designed a chip with the same oled display, but allowed for custom code. That way I could vape the exact way I desire :)

As long as you are pleased that's all that matters....the way vape technology is moving you will probably get your programmable wish...

The chip posted earlier without info was supposed to be a 50w Indonesian chip, designed around a DNA, so big things are coming every day
