loaded right back to locked mode, switching modes and stuff work fine but the screen will not display anything but the locked screen when putting the battery back in. coming out of sleep it shows the lock screen as well.

Hmm.. Very strange... It's obviously recognizing the button press...

Thanks! The pictures are very close to actual color. Maybe the other venders got the regular blue, because elev8 said they ordered the ROYAL blue, but standard blue was another option.

Aside from voiding warranty by removing the inside cover I'd be trying that fire button on the board, it really wouldn't get you anything other than the knowledge that the outside button or it's wiring to the board is at fault.
Oh but the button takes it out of sleep mode....nevermind

exactly my thoughts also. just wonder if wet vapes will even cover it? and if i open it will they cover it?

I think the buttons might be a little "funny" I have seen inconsistencies in function. E.G. 4 click to lock/unlock when I am sure the timer has elapsed.

If it is seeing the fire button as always pressed it will do no good to open it up to press the on board button....
