Thanks, Iceclouds for the input.
What could be a bit helpful is if you could possibly let us know the specs on the back of the Samsung charger you are using that appears to work. I was in the retail electronics biz for years so I have countless wall warts around the house, as well as USB 2 and USB 3 charging sources. There are dozens of others in this thread with as much or more experience then myself as well. No one has come up with the exact cause (or reason) that I have seen so far.
Look forward to the specifications.
Gary

Ok guys I am going to quote from he label on the charger (sorry not too electrically talented) Model ETA-P10X IMPUT 100-240V 50/60HZ
.035A OUTPUT 5V--2A.....Let me know if that helps, if you have a way of enlarging the picture (especially those using a cell phone/tablet or touch screen) you can pinch and enlarge my picture and you can read all the specs. Let me know if I can help in any way...Side note notice how thick the charge wire that I am using, it is a very thick gauge (don't know if that makes a difference)

I think ALL the clones have a copy of a dna chip , i don't think any have a real Evolve DNA chip but i could be wrong. The good thing about fasttech is they are priced at $52.00 and $56.00 and they have a very long return policy so if something happens even after a month of using it no problem.

From all the research i did most say all the clones regardless of maker are essentially the same and function the same , if thats the case i'll pay the cheapest price with the longest warranty.

If you take a good look at them on FT's site they look identical to the other clones i have seen.

They are far from identical. FT 18650s are junk compared to the Cloupor. Have had mine less than 10 hours and already put it back in the bag a started the refund process. NOT swap it out, RETURN. Total garbage IMO. I am used to fixing FT items, not even gonna try on this one.

I used a FOST battery charger bank with the 5V/2.1A outlet and got the green for about 2 minutes till the FOST stopped blinking telling me it was charging. Now the Fost is a battery also but 10,000 mAh type with two USB outputs of 5V/2.1A and a 5V/1.0A and either should work fine. Now as for how long I just happened to wake up when I saw the green lite so really not sure how long but it was on for about 2 minutes from that point till the Fost showed as fully charged.

I don't think the clone meant his standards and rather than bash them in their thread thread he took the high road and moved on....

I'm new here and know retired is a big hitter but why would someone come into a thread about the Chana and say they might be dangerous in big bold letters then just go AWOL. This thread is full of people holding these things right up to our faces.

I mean no disrespect or want to start an argument but if he knows they are truly dangerous he should tell us no?

Maybe he's doing more testing?

That's where in at; the price is definitely attractive; and when it comes to toppers-RBAs,RDAs buying a clone doesn't bother me, there's no circuitry. With a Hana clone at that price I'm almost ready to jump only I can't find what grew it runs at. If it's a 33.3hz chip that's a deal Breaker for me. If it's a 700 or above yeah I'd do it.

I wanted to share what devices and ohm's I've tried:
Origen v2 - Single coil - 1.7ohms. 20-25 watts seems to be the best for flavor and vapor for me. I get about 6.8 volts. This is probably my favorite one so far.
Origen v2 - Dual coil - .50 ohms. Tried 20-30 watts but didn't quite get the power output I was hoping for. Flavor was ok and same with vapor. This same build on my mechanical mod produces awesome flavor and vapor. I haven't used this build since day 2 of owning a Hana clone.

I have also tried sub-ohm and 1.0 ohm or higher builds on a Zenith, Magma, Tobh and Brass Monkey but the Origen is still my go to atty for this device.

just got a origen v2 clone off ebay - although the 510 connector seems really recessed..pic attached - see how it's below the lip..i'm assuming it's not supposed to be like that..I keep getting a "check atomizer" on my cana

Haven't had time to look through to see if anyone posted this but saw it on vaporjoes. 101vapes has some cna30's from cloupor actually in stock all colors except black lmao!!!

anaH modz DNA 30 Clone no logos - 101 Vape

Is this any different than the Cana Modz? I've been looking for the greater part of the day and this is the only place with blue in stock. I'm so close to hitting the buy button lol.

Edit: ....! Someone just got the last blue :(
Edit 2: Damn you 30 other ppl in this thread. I know one of y'all got my blue lol.

I have the same exact one. It will work. You just have to fiddle with the connector a little

when you say fiddle..do you mean loosening the negative post? I was able to push out the entire pin further if I unscrew the post a bit, but when I do that the entire post spins. Do you use yours with the pin all the way tightened? thanks dude.

Be really careful with that 510 recessed connection, there have been people in here that have already fried their boards because of the 510 threading contacting the 510 firing pin on the Hana and creating a major short.

Doesn't matter. USB is USB. If it's showing a red light, it'll charge until it's full. You should own a voltage meter anyways, try checking the charge after the red light goes out, or whatever it's doing. As others have mentioned, the green light is very faint. If it's bothering you so much, maybe you should request an RMA.
