RIP CANA clone #1653 silver. 06-11-14 to 06-20-14. Kept doing the locking up thing last night again, took the battery out for awhile, put it back in, saw a bright flash under the red cover, heard the atty crackle and then smelled burnt pcb. Totally dead.
Decided ok, I'll "just" get a dna 30. I've rewired motorcycles from the frame up, fixed a laptop or two and thought easy-peezy. Wrong. Once I pried the red cover off in about 6 pieces I was looking at a mass of epoxy that covered everything except a small portion of the board. Buttons, plexiglass, only about 1/2" of good wire coming off the batter box before dissapearing into masses of solid epoxy. Wasn't the Fogger, had the pin screwed out at least 1/16".
The ONLY thing salvegable is the box itself and the 510 but that's crap anyway so now I have a box that would cost about $75 bucks or more to bring back to life. vape Shark, here I come.
Who was your vendor, you probably could of got a replacement had you not done all that
