I like my air hole to line up dead center between the posts, If it does not I file the base of the cap until it does. Key is keep it perfectly flat while filing or sanding.
Since the RM2 is so close in size to my file, I constantly rotate the RM2 while filing. I check the fit often, the hole will slowly rotate clockwise around the RM2. This one rotated about 340 degrees to get to the spot I like.
I think this is something I could do. I'll take a stab at it after I order and receive my next RM2 or possibly RM3 dual coil. That way I'll still have an atty to use if I mess it up. Thanks for the tip FB, very cool.
