EL EM AYO! (LMAO) @ the music.

Nice trick, I do the same but I drop in PG till the top is filled then wrap my sexy lips around the shaft and blow. It shoots out the battery and air intake hole (901). Repeat about 5 times, then its ready to vape. I have a feeling though that some gunk is still left in there. It will taste good for about 3 days then get crappy again.

nice vid.

i was gonna toss out an old 510 atty but decided to drop it in water first. Forgot about it, found it a week later. Used compressed air to blow it out, dried it for a day and whoa. Works better than when it was new. nice vapor and the battery has been sitting around for at least three weeks with no charge.

be careful with using compressed air on your atties... could be to much psi and damage your atty...

haha nice music, I'm going to try this method, I have had good luck cleaning with water.

Very true, that and add in a few "blow's", "suck's", and "spit it out's" and you have yourself some soft porn.... :)

I had the strange need for a shower after watching that!8-o

On a serious note, this is a great tip!

but hey, i'm real new to this vaping thing. anyhow, i wonder if this method could/should be used for removing the primer stuff that is put on new atties. i have a few new ones for backup and i would love to go ahead and clear them and get them ready for that inevitable time when...well, i can't say it, but i digress. oh, as a follow-up, is there any reason why i shouldn't clean that primer out (since i don't plan on using them for a while, i hope)...

It would be perfect for cleaning out the primer, but I wouldn't do it until I am ready to use the atty meaning the near future.... the others that will be in "storage" leave alone... of course this is just a suggestion for long atty life :D

so how am i supposed to know when it is ok to use the atty again? what i mean is, i've heard that after cleaning, one needs to let it dry. can anyhow suggest how to determine when i can fire it up, so to speak. thanks again.

oh ok now I understand.... well if you use my method and do it to dry it as well... and use distill water you could get it going in 30min tops @ HV if you use a VG or PG base.. you can do it almost imediately

right on. i do appreciate the help and advice. i am in the process of flushing my atties, now, and while i do not have an o-ring (nor a possible substitution), i am having success using the little rubber "grip" things that are on many pens (such as the "G-2" or "uniball signo"...i know, that's a funny name for a pen, uniball...) anyhow, what i did was unscrew the tip, take out the spring and ink, then slide off the rubber grip. then i simply slid the rubber over the 3cc syringe and plugged the atty into the other end. makes quite a tight fit. although a little leakage has my shirt all wet, it is serving it's purpose very well until i can get a bona fide o-ring. again, thanks for the help.

You know what my friend YOU just found the substitute THANK YOU I can't believe I forgot... awhile back a member named porphy (avejuice.com supplier now) made a quick refill EDIT QUICK DRIP mod with a pen grip...

that is EXCELLENT and should most definately work... that is of course you are using the 3cc small syringes...

if you post a pic that would be Super... I can't believe I didn't think of that.. I will definately post a comment in my youtube page...

Thanks

an O ring of the proper size.

This works like a charm. I refer to it as "the atty enema". I use alcohol in 4 oz boiling water for my solution, works like a charm. Completely removes any taste from previous liquid.

the atty enema that's awesome... :D

thanks duck, i thought it might work well. i'm glad i can help a little since this forum has played such a huge part in my quitting analogs (one month, today!!!)

well here's my first attempt at posting pics, and i'm not so sure about the quality. the camera is spot on, but the operator, not so much. anyhoo...

i don't know if this would work on larger syringes, since i have none, however, on the 1cc syringe it was ok...better on the 3cc. also, when i put the rubber on (...ummm...way too easy...) the syringe , i forced it up as far as i could get it, so that when i put the atomizer in the other end, it was touching the syringe...but you play with it, see what works.

excellent... I love the arrow and equal sign :D....

I am sure that would be a perfect substitute and if there are a few kinks in that set up... I am sure there is a fix somewhere out there :D

I will have to get me a uniBall :D to try it out... (don't get me wrong the carto rubber grommet is still the method of choice for me :D )

Thanks again for the time spent in sharing your idea

i know right...as if it was hard to tell that [this piece came from that piece]. i actually didn't mean to post that pic, it was a practice pic to see how it would turn out, oh well, gotta start somewhere. thanks for the kind words. i do have some more follow-up questions, though.

so, now that i have cleaned out my atties (and it worked like a champ, i must add! they are spotless, the little fibers under the bridge are white again and it smells fresh, great job!) what would you suggest i do with the extra atties in terms of storing them for later use. in other words, i and my wife were rotating between several atties and we now have five clean ones. they will be used, of course, just not sure if i need to keep 'em wet with juice or something until then. sorry so many questions, no more tonite...have a good one.

somewhere in a dry place would be fine.. make sure it is exactly 22c degrees and you will be fine.... (the later isn't so important :D )

lol...I cant believe I didnt think of this...I've got all the stuff readily available..

whats worse I have done the exact same method..using a dosing syringe I got gree from the pharmacy (walgreens) and my T tip...cus the syringe tip fits tight into the t tip...
As well as a short pice of tubing that fits over the threads (hurray for lowes) and another dosing syringe...
And here I was gonna go and grab one of those things that thread onto the sink faucet and some fittings to reduce it down to that tube so I could just put the atty on the tube and turn my faucet on for a bit and leave it...god that's a lot of work to be lazy..
