I've been doing the same thing since the beginning of feburary.

I took a cart cap, pierced the end with my filling syringe, and then stretch the cap over the atty. Insert syringe, and start forcing pga in and out. I've put some major force on the syringe plunger and the cap has never slipped off.

yes I am sure there a bunch of techniques that are used adapted and thought of... I mean there are only so many ways to skin a cat :D

That's cool that you have something that works .. you know anything that will help us continue enjoying our vape experience :D

I love this method of cleaning! Thank you so much for bring it to our attention.

And I have discovered a way to adapt it to work with M401 atties.... I found a straw that fits over the bridge and sleeve of the atty. (Finding the right size was not an easy task!) One end of the straw can be heated and the size adjusted to fit the syringe assembly. Then pump away!

:)

thanks duck, i thought it might work well. i'm glad i can help a little since this forum has played such a huge part in my quitting analogs (one month, today!!!)

well here's my first attempt at posting pics, and i'm not so sure about the quality. the camera is spot on, but the operator, not so much. anyhoo...

i don't know if this would work on larger syringes, since i have none, however, on the 1cc syringe it was ok...better on the 3cc. also, when i put the rubber on (...ummm...way too easy...) the syringe , i forced it up as far as i could get it, so that when i put the atomizer in the other end, it was touching the syringe...but you play with it, see what works.

This is awesome. Seems like all day long I couldn't get an atty or a pen to work right.starting to see the = sign here. found the right pen in the jar full that doesn't have a working one in it. Then commenced to giving all my atty's the enema and ahhhhh vape at last.

This is why I love this forum, seems as soon as I have a problem, I click on new posts, read for an hour or two, or three :) and voila. thanks for the great tip...... Added to my arsenal.. 1 atty enema:laugh::laugh:

+1 for using a carto condom if you don't have an o-ring. You could also use the cap off of a cartridge. The key is to pull it out of the cleaning agent while pushing out, otherwise it wil slide off. (I haven't done this on an atty yet. This is my method for cartos, but they're the same size so it should work.)
Thank you for this. I don't know why I hadn't thought to do it on attys. I have two attys with the most persistent flavor that I can't get out. Off to try this now :D

Ok. you guys, don't make fun of me, but I have been doing this by suckiing on (the cart end) of my atty while having it in 151 grain alcohol to soak. I pull it up wth suction from from my mouth ( because I like alcohol anyway) until I can taste it a little, and then blow it out into the grain alcohol and I do this 5-6 times during the soaking period. Then I rinse and let dry as usual. There, my dirty little secret is out. but It works, as it moves the grain alcohol back and forth across the wick/ bridge or whatever! And I haven't gotten anything strange or funky in my mouth either.

I use a 12cc syringe and take off the needle and put a rubber gromit on the end of the syringe from inside a carto, fits perfectly into a 510 Atty, I fill 3 small little bowls up one with warm water one with PGA and one with crest health pro, I do the warm water first to rinse out the Atty then I use the PGA then the creast healthpro mouthwash and a final two rinses of the warm-hot water. I do about 10 Atties at a time, then when Im all done I take those Atty's and put them in a small metal pan and put them in the oven for a hafe hour at 175 degrees. Remove them and they are like new and ready to vape. try it you will like it.!!!

Great idea ! I knew id have to do something like this sooner or later, just glad someone thought it up :toast: Here's my spin on it...fill small glass from my HOT/cold drinking water machine, pump syringe back n forth, blow/shake excess water out, then lay attys in towel on top of my Bunn coffee maker (stays pretty warm) overnight.

Golly, I've been missing out and doing it the low tech way. I just lean over the kitchen sink, get a big mouth full of water and blow it all through the cart and into the sink. I do this several times from both directions. Now, I ain't got a very big mouth, but it sure holds a lot more than a small syringe, heheh.
