Your mom said not to say...
I don't know if your prenatal care doctor has made you aware of this or not. Since it's inception was a covert plan of action to collect the dna of ALL NEWBORNS WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT. It has been made a law in 2007 It's called the "Newborn Saving Lives Act of 2007" that the ..... and war criminal GWB signed into law. It gives the government the right to take dna from you child without your consent to be stored in a huge dna bank and become US government "property". I don't know about the rest of you but I say the hell with that noise. I would make sure to instruct the doctors, and hospitals that you do not want anything to do with that crap. That is invasion of privacy in the most foul of ways. No way in hell I would allow that to happen. I would also contact a legal specialist to get more info on this. I have no idea if people can tell the docs specifically that they don't want to participate and not have to worry about it. The idea that it was first done covertly does not instill any confidence in me. In this program it states that hospitals have the RIGHT to draw DNA without the parents permission. That leads me to not want to have a kid in the US or anywhere US law is in effect. Canada isn't so bad a place to be born and you get to have dual citizenship! Looks better and better everyday.

It might seem upsetting but when you really think about it. I have kids. And DNA would come in handy if something were to happen to them. If someone raped them or attacked them. Then the DNA of the person who did it would be on file.
So in the end of the day there isn't a whole lot wrong with it.

If people keep this in mind a lot less crime with this coming Generation. There might be less crime as people know that they can be found or identified easier.

Con... against the wish of the parents. That I don't agree with. Or at least the parents should be informed. In time we will find it required that everyone have DNA on file. And when that does come about I'm ok with it.
As long as it is only for data and not for science research.
