Problem: Troll rda will not sit flush on flagship mod. Got the mech for 20 bucks and want to make use of this rda that I'm not currently fond of. Both are authentic. Adjustable 510 on troll is as short as possible. Floating pin on flagship cap moves freely. Screwed atty into cap, insert battery, assemble, there's a gap, but firing button is at full throw. (Flagship has a lot geranium throw than many) Took the delrim out, reassemble, everything fits flush, slight battery rattle, but the button is an extremely short throw, not what it should be. The long throw was what made me decide to get this as I can toss it in my pocket. Is there an atty with a shorter 510? If so, could I get a few suggestions please?

Standard procedure for most mods
1: take the topcap off the mod
2: attach the topcap to the rda; use the adjustment screws to set it flush to the topcap.
3: scew on the topcap+rda onto the mod tube.

if you can get spare topcaps you can leave topcaps permanently attached to your atty's

The flagship is $100 +
Are you sure you have a real one for 20 bucks?

I keep reading the post but I'm not understanding *where* the gap is, can you post a pic?

Also,,, what type of battery? Button top or flattop?I have a few mods where the button top is just a hair too much length for the tube to fully screw together.

There are no adjustment screws on the top cap. Floating pin. Cap does sit flush with atty. I can make everything sit flush. But when I do the firing button throw is about 1mm. Giving that this mod has a long throw, something is too long somewhere and I have everything shortened as much as possible. (That can be) The only thing I cannot shorten is the 510 threads on atty which seems to be the problem.

According to the product page the delrin in the button is adjustable for battery rattle. You may have mistaken the long throw for a feature when in reality its actually setup improperly as most quality mods consider very short throws a defining feature.

    Never did like trolls.
    Sitting under bridges, harassing goats.

    Try a clt v3?
    Fairly cheap, good production.
    Sits flush on my mechanicals.

With all of these hardware problems I may go back to cigg-a-likes :w00t: .. I might not get any vapor but I won't have any hardware problems either ;)
