I just got 3 attys from cignot and when I opened them up 2 of the atty's fibers under the wick bridge are all frayed out with one of the bridges is bent almost all the way touching the side. The 3rd atty is perfect but the first 2 are bothering me. I havent used the frayed attys yet, but will they work normally? Or is this a manufacturer error and should I send them back?

Your can use a cap from a pen(plastic) and straighten the bridge out but sometimes the wicking could just appear to be hanging on one side but the other side is actually down in to the coil its usually just frayed ends on the non wicking side. All should be fine but if there is a issue Cignot will take care of you they are great

lol its weird but I never look that hard when I first use a new one and I drip with mine.
FWIW, when I DO notice, it doesnt seem to matter if they are bit 'untidy' looking. I have one that had the filler/threads thing going one way and the mesh leaning a bit the other - it was a MUTANT! It worked fine with dripping htough - I just dripped on the mesh normally and it went onto the threads fine.
If you're worried just shoot Vicki at cignot an email and ask her - they use thier products so they'd know if it was 'normal' or not.
