OK, I bought this 5 pack of Joye look-a-likes. They seem to have been working ok but Ive killed 2 of them in the last hour. One just completely died while on my buzz, so i switched it out, and the other one died. I poped the screw off the buzz, and nothing appears to be unhinged. Any ideas here? O, and one died a few days ago too

What are they Red ? any idea ? there are some attys out there that just plain SUCK and will blow if you put anything near 4 volts on them , they use cheap and really thin nichrome wire ( not even sure if it is nichrome ?? ) and are cheap as hell , what did you pay each ?

It was like 20 bucks for a 5 pack. I think they cant handle the buzz. What would you recommend? Id rather pay more for ones that can handle the volts. I'll send you a link thru pvt message of the place I got them.

X2 on the Genuine Joyes from LF...I ran one @ 4.3 for 3 weeks...It's still alive but in need of a cleaning...If I ever get that ultra sonic deal from Wal-Mart....FYI the same juice gunked up a IKV HV 306 in a couple of days...So the Joye looks even better...I gotta give that cleaner a go...I've got a syringe and Everclear but that just doesn't work...I'll post up if the cleaner works...It'll be easy peasy too clean them before they get gunked up....Hopefully making the Joye last even longer..

I have a joye atty left that I got on my first PV over a yr. ago. Now I realize I don't use it that often but I have used it many, many, many times. The Buzz puts out the same 3.7 volts from it's batteries any other mod that uses 16340s does it just does it better. I'd say you need to turn it down as low as them 510s or 808s put out. Oh but the Buzz don't go into the 2.75 volt range they do. You need to buy some decent atty's would be my suggestion.

The newer Buzz's go down to 2.8 volts now ( in the last 4 months or so )

That was a response to the LR craze , the Buzz has the power dissipation capability to handle that type of load ( larger tube and size ) there is only so much heat you can drop into a tube . the New Tech will not see that problem , it will not like 1.5 ohms BUT it will not shutdown from the tests we have done . Unless you keep hitting it like a madman .

As you all know I do NOT like LR !!! it is a bad idea for VV, for a regular 3.7 volt battery it is fine ( even though it stresses the batt. ) but not for VV !

Thanks, I know a guy at work who owns a detailing service, and he told me that he can detail it for about 25 bucks and when I get a little extra cash, im gonna have it done :D It NEEDS it haha.. O, I ordered a 5 pack of Joyes from Liberty and 1 HV from him as well, so i'm hoping that will fix my problem. I really like DDing on 4.5-4.6 and i think those crappy attys just cant hang with the big boys LOL.. talk to you soon.

Oh ya? That's really cool for the people that vape that far down. I don't think my Buzz has ever been below 4.0 volts

Redneck, I really like that scooter in your atty. Nice.

Well grab some rags and some chrome polish and I'll come pick you up for a scoot as soon as it warms up a little.
