Chaefwe/Battery Issue -- Revisited

Hey Gang,

When I first got my Buzz Pro a couple of weeks ago, had trouble with the batteries/charger; after rotating and switching sides, charger seemed to work. On my second charge now; if I put ONE battery in, light indicates red, putting TWO batteries in side by side (horizontally), one indicator stays red, the other green; putting TWO batteries in vertically, light stays green; but batteries are definitely not charged (took them out of Buzz Pro as could tell they were dying). I have swapped, moved around, rolled in charger, etc with same response. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I have NO idea what happened to my typing skills in the title! Should be CHARGER/BATTERY ISSUE....Yikes!

Maybe I misunderstood this but your batteries should go in side by side only. I have found that mine works best when I load both batteries while unit (charger) is unplugged. Then plug it in to charge once loaded.

I did them side by side initially; yet only one side stays red, other is green. So I thought maybe it was me and tried them vertically, as a test. Anyways, will keep trying and then if the next cycle does the same, will give Mike a shout out.

Give it another try , keep an eye on the charger while they are in there just in case , it might be a bad charger OR battery ???? hard to tell right now , or it could be : USER ERROR " LOL !!! J/K !

Does the side that stays green stay green even if you swap the batteries? Charger has channels 1&2. Call the two batteries A&B. Does channel 1 stay green when both batteries are installed, even if you flip A&B? Or does the green channel track with the battery?

If it is always one channel, likely a simple failed charger. The one debug I know is to unplug it and then try cleaning the contacts, pencil eraser or a little isopropyl alcohol on a qtip.

I have that sometimes and by cleaning the end of my battery and rolling them they will work. also trading sides. Try this, On the red side pull that battery out and see if the green side turns red. It could be charging but just have an LED quirk.

I've got a brand new charger & it does stupid things like this. I think it's a fluke, because both of my batteries charge & look charged when I put them in a different charger. I ordered a new charger when the whole blowing up mods thing happened.
