I first started with the vivi novas, then went to carto tanks, then graduated to attys. I've been vaping for about 4 months now and nothing beats dripping for me. I use the HH 357 long barrel like the other folks but on a 901.
Doing my research on a rba now and would like to use mesh instead of silica. Waiting to see what the AMP tank has to offer.
At home: nuttin but dripping for best flavor, especially if I want to test my juices
At work: drip, only carto, carto tank, then vivi (order of preference)
Driving: tank or vivi
I'm not a big fan of the vivi because it burns through juice faster and cooks the juice while in the tank.
My mods are a zmax and an empire

Yeah you may have a point here? Do vivi's burn through more juice than carto tanks? Certainly more than dripping I imagine..

tanks are the next thing I am going to try. I like to use clearos when I am out or at work just because they are not much hassle, I can carry a few different ones, and easily change them when I see they are getting low. I am not sure I have the whole dripping thing mastered so at home I use a cart that I can just top up as necessary. Because they are so cheap I can have one for each flavor.

The 3ml J-tank from electronicstix.com will make it through an entire 1300 mAh spinner for me. The tank outlasts the battery (about 9 or so hours average for me depending on the voltage I'm using). It's a relatively small tank and it doesn't leak. I carry it in my pocket all day. It doesn't get much more convenient than that for me.

I always have a backup battery, a 2nd filled tank, and an unopened cartomizer close by just in case.

don't jinx it mrwilliams! i've never used a j-tank personally. smoktechs, f16's (by boge? got them from vaporbeast.), and a boatload of rebuildable atomizer tanks. in my ecperience, if it holds juice i can make it leak. in fact i make it seem effortless.

i still like to use them on occasion though. dripping sucks behind the wheel, on a boat, in a foundry, in a powerplant, basically anywhere i work...

I hear you jim. I do make a conscience effort not to bang them around too much when they are in my pocket! I stayed away from smoktech and f16 tanks because a lot of the reviews I read said they had leaking issues. I picked up a couple of J-tanks largely because they were so highly recommended by pBusardo in his youtube videos. I'm glad I did! Give one a shot... I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I solved that problem ............ quit working

Actually, sounds like you would be a good candidate for a REO.

I seem to be in the group that likes carto's better then vivi nova's. I did not know this to start with and bought about 10 full and mini nova's. I still use them for different flavors so not a waste. I am dieing to try a rba but at $150 thats a lot of cash if I don't like them.....
Looking at the ZEN and the Cobra at the moment.

I'd look at getting a clone then if i were you. It's a good way to get your feet wet. Personally, i don't see $100+ in my DiD over my Dud. I don't think that's a popular belief, but that's how i feel about it.

I'll be getting a SmokTank XL DCT - Locking Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank from Smoktek in today. I'm not going to give my opinion until I've seen how long a carto lasts, and what amount of flavor I get out of it. I've read a few posts that say carto tanks are a good choice. I can understand where dripping may give the best flavor, but I'm usually too busy to be holding a bottle of juice in my hand all day. I do see an advantage in test tasting the flavor of a new juice though.

I've noticed that you do go through more juice in a vivi compared to a carto tank. I don't go through as much juice when dripping; my juice consumption is from 10ml per day on a tank to around 5ml a day when dripping.

My Vivi and Splitfire both seem to consume much juice. I hope when I get my carto tank [Smoktek DCT XL lockable], my juice consumption will go down a bit. I ordered the single coil carto's because I am using a Twist, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand I need a more powerful Mod to accommodate the dual coil. Dripping may have more flavor, but it seems a PITA to me, having to have a juice bottle in my hands all day.
