no matter how I build mine I cannot go over 70-75 watts without getting a cottony, burny taste. at 75 watts and below it is running absolutely amazingly though. I just want to put more power to it.

I have built on both the 2mm and 2.5mm deck, 3.5mm dual 24G SS304 8 wrap, 2.5mm dual ss316 28G parallel 6 wrap, dual 3mm 26G kanthal spaced 6 wrap...

Now heres the kicker... its working on par with my Ohmega BFT when I have it running at 85 watts, even though my Boreas is runnning around 60 watts. I just want to be able to build and run it higher and really see what this bad girl can DO!!

I took mine once up to 150W just to see what it's like. Gads! I can't do that high. I dropped it down to 55W just like a couple of others and it's just great! I think I'll leave it there for awhile. I was going along fine at 85W, but if 55 is sufficient, I'm sure my batteries will appreciate the break .
