Someone asked about drip tips a bit ago... well i didnt really like the stubbyness of the stock tip, and last night when my RX took a gainer off the table with my beloved Boreas on it I got the delrin seperation from the SS base as well. Figured it was a good time to break out my favorite tip and put it on here. this isa friction fit tip from Cherry Vapes. i freaking love them. there are no orings on the shaft so the internal hole can be a touch wider and give more airflow. I used the wooden handle of a pocket knife to gently tap it down into place. there is no way im gonna be able to remove it now... But oh well! it makes a great tank that much better!

Glad to see were still here :) Anyone try it in TC mode? I really like Ti coils & was wondering if anyones in TC? With all the good reviews I'm excited to get mine, next week some time :(
I'm using mine with 316L in TC. Fantastic connection, works wonderfully!

I've tried using TC, and for me, it just doesn't do what I want. I am using stainless, which is nice, but I only use power mode.
I'm certainly no pro, but if you want any help with SS TC, PM me (or here is fine). I've been using it exclusively since September/October last year and I love it! I'd be glad to help, if I could.

I am, but with SS316, working like a treat though.

Oddly for me I like this build better in TC on my RX200 than I did in power mode. Pretty much opposite of @pwheeler

Ok so I let my vaping friends at work try this wonderful Roxy tank & they all loved it! Even my friend who vapes 3mg & usually chokes on my 6mg! All I did for him was crank down the watts to 55 (from 100w) & left the airholes at 2 & he took a nice long draw with no coughing & said he loved it! I've been running it at 100w all day with 2 holes open & I'm in love! Thinking about throwing an Alien build on the other deck & see what happens!:headbang:

If you like TC, you like it. if not, then you don't ;-)

Great news! a good solid connection is what I'm looking for :)
I love the TC! run almost every thing in TC with Ti coils :)

For me, usually with TC (I only use 316L, as I hate nickel and Ti) it takes me forever to get all the hotspots out, due to mini connection issues.

I tried 2 builds in the Boreas, and didn't have to fiddle with the connection at all, just tightened down fully, and all the hotspots were out within 2-3 pulses/strums of the coils.

Very happy about that! Usually I blow thru a quarter of my battery life trying to get 316L to cooperate. Biggest pro to me thus far, but there's certainly a lot to love.

Thanks! I have done TC with both a tank and a dripper before, but it just seemed to flatten out the hit too soon. I'm thrilled enough as it is using regulated power mode so all of my hits are as good as the first. I I only used mechanicals forever until recently getting roped into the MT thread and now, I have 10 tanks. Each one I got seemed to get better than the last. I might give TC another try with these newer tanks and see how it goes. I have a bunch of SS wire in 304, 316L, Clapton and fused Clapton.

Are you using a a device that allows you to manually adjust your TCR for temp control? If so, the TCR for 316L that I've had the best luck with is "0.00092". Some devices, you enter it in a little differently, but that's how you would do it for a DNA200, for example.

Also, with the exception of the Bellus, I cannot get it to work 100% correctly without the RTA/RDA having grub nuts to secure the leads down. Regular screws throw everything off for me. My MT wouldn't cooperate until I bought some grubs for it ($3 on eBay). My temps would fluctuate from 400 degrees all the way up to over 1000 degrees on the screen.

Those 2 issues (Proper TCR and grub nuts/really tight leads) were really the only issues I ever had getting it to work. One other thing I've read a lot is, the higher your resistance, the more accurate it'll behave. I usually shoot for .35 to .4 ohm.
