I take off the bottom cap, pop out the deck and refill it through the small slots there.

Why do you take the deck out? I just open the bottom, open the AFC/JFC all the way and fill her up. No need to take the deck out at all. Put the bottom cap back on and turn it over and watch the bubbles as it fills the juice wells. Beautiful. Adjust AFC to desired flow. Vape until you're dizzy!

You are right. There is no need to take out the deck. I guess I'm just used to doing it to check my wick and coil when I refill. Bottom filling is the way to go if you want this tank to be leak free. :)

I am happily using 3 and my husband has the other 2. Only bottom fill here too.
I also like the idea of giving the coils a look see on refills.

All have the exact same build, dual ss316 26g 7 wraps id 3.5 spaced. Comes in at .28 every time. Using plain cotton balls unrolled and then I cut out a nice center section and then do a scottish roll type wick.

No leaking here. My husbands mods sit for days as he only really vapes in the morning. He might refill every other day or three.
My mods never are far from my hand. I may fill at least two of mine either early morning or late in the evening, but the other one that sits around not being used never leaks either.

Whats funny though is my first one ss#555 has the non knurled top cap and comes off and screws on smoothly. The next 4 purchased had the notched top cap and they suck trying to get on and off.

Went to bottom fill and never looked back.
I love mine!

I wish all mine were non knurled SS.
Husband uses a black one with ss air flow ring and extra gold band we purchased with the black one on his other ss one. Just so we know whos tank is whos. LOL, kinda silly....we could never get them mixed up.
We vape such different flavored juices not likely we would make that mistake.

Bottom fill ALL the time! Like I have said before...with an 8+ml tank, it's not like you are filling all that often, right? And like you say, it gives you a chance to check your coils and wick just to take a look-see.
I've got 2 in regular rotation since first release and I seriously don't understand the leaking issues others have had.

Check your wicking and fill correctly you shouldn't have any problems with the top fill.

Except I like the bottom fill. It's not a problem for me at all. I was having problems getting the original top cap off so I went to bottom fill and liked it...odd huh? I vape NET juice so I like to check the wick when I fill. It can gunk up pretty quick...have to change the wick every other day. So I just take a look when I fill it up. I also like to take it off the mod to clean the top of the mod from condensation that builds from the extra vape coming out of the air holes. So for me, bottom fill is great and actually convenient. I realize it does not leak if filling properly from the top. The tank is so well designed for my vaping needs. Love it.

My wicking is correct. I have NEVER had a leak on this thing at all. Never a dry hit. Just good, thick, flavorful vapor! This is my main tank and I know it inside and out.

I never experienced leaking per se, but I do get a little seepage now and then. I presumed this to be acceptable, especially since it doesn't occur frequently. I have, however, noticed some people saying that they get good flavour on their Boreas tanks, which is opposite to my experience; I get muted flavours in mine. I will be tickering with my build deck soon, in the hopes of achieving a better vape.

Yeah a little seepage which you get from all Tanks. Flavor is great, but I don't keep the air wide open I cut it back a little. That and I run SS fused Claptons.

Yeah, that was my opinion with regards to seepage. As for flavour, I usually run my Boreas with 2 holes open; that's my sweet spot. And like with my Griffin and Aromamizer tanks, I run it with claptons ohming out to between 0.5-0.7. Despite this, and as I've said before, the flavour is noticeably muted in the Boreas. I'll report back with results after I tinker around with a new build.

I don't get leaking either, and the flavor is good in my opinion. The reason I bottom fill on the Boreas is because my af/jf ring is so tight it won't budge unless I take it off my mod anyway. Even then I have to use something to grip it to get it to turn either way. So I figure I might as well bottom fill it while the tank is off and avoid fighting with the ring to try to open and close it.

I much prefer my Aromamizer Supreme. Easy top fill and never a leak.

Yeah I build around 0.22, gives me 65-70 watt vape. For me the Boreas is my favorite all around Tank. Easy to build on and wick, good flavor, great performance and no leaking issues.

Funny. I have a similar issue, but instead it is with my Mizer Supreme; It's JFC ring is too tight and I have to use grips to turn it. I suppose inconsistencies are to be expected with mass factory productions.
