Hello everyone. This is my first post, but I've been lurking for a couple of weeks. I have learned lots about ecigs here, so thanks to everyone here for all the great information. After 40+ years smoking, I'm analog free for 10 days!

I purchased a Mini Vivi Nova a couple of weeks ago that I really like. I wanted a couple more in colors to make them easy to tell apart. I bought two from ecig Charleston in different colors, as my original source only sells clear ones. This is the image from the ecig Charleston website:

That looks authentic to me. This is what I received:

This is the box with the white label peeled away:

The box doesn't have "Vision" on it, or any brand name at all. The first tank I purchased (on left) has "Vivi Nova" printed on it:

Finally, the first Vivi I purchased (on left again) has "2013 Vision Vivi Nova" etched in the base:

Given the differences, I called Ecig Charleston and described my concerns that the tanks I received are different from the Vision brand tank on the their website. I was told that, yes, these are authentic vision products. They didn't know why the packaging, labeling and etching are different, but assured me these are Vision products.

So, what do the experts think?

The packaging does look odd yes, but the coils in the first pic look like the Vision ones, and actually, my Mini Vivis, which should be genuine, doesn't have "Vivi Nova" printed on the tube, nor the etching in the base. My "Big Vivis" do have "Vivi Nova" printed on the tube though and they were sold to me as being genuine too. Pretty sure I bought them all from thebestshop.eu, where they claim that they're genuine Vision products.

I'm gonna go with CLONE. Vision would probably spell VIVI correctly.
So if it's crap - if it leaks and such, I'd complain to the vendor for delivering a copy of the the brand they're advertising on the website.
If not - then it's OK - lots of us use lots of copies on purpose.
I was getting vivi nova's here til I decided I didn't like them...

Thanks, Bill. Yep, I understand that Vision is the brand name. I haven't tried them yet, expecting that the seller had shipped knockoffs by mistake, and would happily replace them with the Vision products they show on their website. Even if they are serviceable, I hate to think I paid full freight for a $3.50 clone.

In any event, I owe you a personal "thank you" because I was following the thread when the SS Vamo went on sale at Fasttech with the Panasonic batteries and i2 charger: $58.85 Vamo V3 Stainless Steel Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger / 2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping I got caught up in the excitement, and ordered one on the spot. At $55, it was only a few bucks more than the Joye Ego starter kit I bought earlier, and it's waaaaaaaay better. I would never have known about that deal if I hadn't been following that thread, so thanks again!
