I never used an auto battery when I started because I read about how easy it is to get juice in the battery. But I have been using the eRoll for a couple of months and I love it. Hands free vaping for the win. 
While I don't use them exclusively, since I do like VV, I keep a stock of 350 mah autos for use when I want to vape hands free. Lots of times working, driving, and so on.
They work fine with an LR carto or Vivi Nano.

I use my eroll, volt batts & volcano more than I use my mini ego or my twist. The auto batteries are more appealing to me. I say use what your most comfortable with wether it be auto or manual. What works for some may not work for others, and that's ok.

Many auto batts are protected
I've been using auto 808 batts for some time now but they all seem to be malfunctioning at the same time, strangely a few weeks after I switched to m3 clearos. I just ordered some kanger batteries. Hope they're just as good as the ones I got when I first got them, even tho they're half the price.

Automatics are all I use. The Sidesho is great for sitting around the house and the Echo is perfect for all day use. Seems odd, I know, but I get fewer leaks on the Echo so the Sidesho is for sitting on the computer or relaxing in the recliner.

the volt & the eroll......I use the volts more when I go out and the eroll at home.
The PCC is 1000 mah. The batt only has to last for 5-20 draws like an analog, then you put it back in the case and its quickly recharged. 90 mah is plenty for one "session". Again, think analog. Works great; its all I've used since January.

It's a great, woefully under-looked automatic. It's biggest downfall is that it is a flat-topped 808, so hardware is pretty limited. Still, I have 3 different dripping setups for it, and it has the second smoothest draw of any automatic I've yet to try. Smoother than the Volt or most any stick battery on the market now. The only thing with a smoother draw is the Sidesho.
I haven't tried their auto versions but I have three of their large manual batteries and they work great. As soon as they release the Zeus I'm going to be ordering a couple.
The auto Dial A Volt and the Zeus both look awesome, but the price point is just too high for me.
Their Smileomizers (dumb name) look cool too, but I haven't enjoyed a carto in months so I'm not willing to spend the money to try them out. It's a shame because that carto looks simply awesome.

as for the sidesho - are you saying it's a really powerful stick battery because if you are, that's exciting!! is it an 808 or 510 connection? and also, where'd you get it from?
