I liked the ones from Ikenvape so much I went back and bought 3 different times. They are excellent. The switch on these seem very responsive to me.

I agree they have a very nice responsive switch. I was kind of waiting to see how it was going to hold up before buying more but they are working so good I think I'll pick up a couple of more from this batch. You never know what the next shipment might bring. He was planning to order the next ones without the led and I prefer the led for charging and knowing when it is firing.

I use both Manual and Automatic. When I don't need to be hands free I use manuals. At home I use a manual Provari, when doing tasks at home where I might need both hands I like an automatic. When way from home I want an automatic.

I am breaking my vaping gear into three classes. The heavy weights, this would include the Provari Mini, even though the Mini is small it has some weight to it. These devices are for when I will have a hand free for vaping and are my most used devices.

Next are the middle weights, I want all of my middle weights to be automatics. They are 14mm in diameter (eGo sized) and for when I am running around or need a hands solution. I prefer than to not be twists and either unregulated or regulated to at least 3.7v. The reason I would prefer than to not be twists is I want them to be as size efficient as possible relative to their battery capacity. What I would really like to see is 400mAh 14mm dia.

Next are the light weights. The light weights will always be automatic only. These are the cigalikes. These are for when only the smallest and lightest will do and they have to be hands free capable. In the light weight category I want to pick up some 510 short batteries that are either unregulated or regulated to 3.7v. I also want an eRoll.

I hope they are 650mAh silver without led. :) I would be knocked dead if they were between 350 and 400mAh. I would go nuts and try and buy the all.

I only use autos, started on the stick batteries and now have moved on to the larger VV autos from V4L, I guess you can call me a lazy vaper, I want vaping to be easy and autos do that for me, I don't want to be pressing buttons and turning my e-cig around to find the button, I just want to stick it in my mouth and vape, I also hands free vape a lot at work. Unless I couldn't get a VV auto anymore, I will be sticking with autos full term.

    my go to mod

    can't recommend it enough

easy draw, not "airy" but a very, very responsive auto battery

the cartomizers are better than anything else i've tried by a long shot. 3.5 mils of liquid and they last about a month. i have a manual zeus you can see in the pic but i use it in auto mode a lot. the manual switch makes them significantly longer. i have the 900 mah version of each and almost use them exclusively these days.

the only drawback for some people will be the price point but its worth it to me. hassle free and a great vape, nice form factor.

I'll be able to add my review soon. So far my favorite auto 14mm for 510 is the one from Mtn Vapors. (but he doesn't sell anything I like in 510 hardware) I have a hunch it's made by the same manufacturer as the echo. It's very similar except it has a longer cutoff and isn't sealed. Then the one from Goodejuice. These 2 are black, both with led. I'm like tx in that I like to see the led so I can see what the battery is doing. there have been times with a stealth that I didn't know if it was my battery or the t3 I have on top. The new t3s is a little extra quirky as it has three connections to check. Not sure if I'll buy more when this last 5 pack runs out.

i found an echo battery on a website for 10 bucks - i'm not sure if we're allowed to post it here if they're not ecf registered suppliers - does anyone know?
also, do you think i need to purchase their charger or would an 808 charger work on it?

If it is a regular echo you can use a 808 charger. It might take a little longer to charge than some echo chargers. Echo also makes an echo-e that has a 510 connection and is a manual.

When I saw this thread title, I thought some of y'all were hooking your gear up to 650cca Duralast, or something.

It starts my truck in the dead of winter so I'm sure it could fire up one of those cheap-o high resistance FastTech atomizers.

If you are looking for a great cig auto, I highly recommend the smoketip. It is a pricey buy in at $59.00 but has a true lifetime guarantee (I used it, no questions asked-keep your receipt) and right now is a special on their cartos, 5 for $6.00 any flavor, and these are supper great auto carts. they fit right on the Echo too, and with the Echo mini, they are an extremely light combo. They are re-fillable many times and the vanilla was soooo raved about way back when. They have a year lifespan average, and are foolproof autos. If the great Echo did not exhist this would be my vape.

The Vaporgirl mini Echos are all I vape now. 350mah, light, short, stealth, and cheap. Regular Echos lifespan is better, but I am willing to accept the trade off. May be because you end up charging them more often.

I have a hard time even thinking of using anything other than an Echo. Unbelievable they are still so great without ever any major changes after many years.

The price is right, but I am unfamiliar with a 510 "t" . I myself don't know what the "t" stands for. The cartridges don't screw on like 510 regulars. Also I didn't see where you can get more cartridges. Note the the cartridge will not be a cartomizer. I.E. you will have 2 parts to heat the liquid. The cartridge will hold a sponge, wich will hold the liquid, and an atomizer will heat the sponge to cause vapor. This is a very old style way to vape, and is obsolete. Cartridges with atomizers are a pain in the **s.

I must say, Ive been out of the loop for a bit, so if I'm wrong, please someone chime in.

the "t" system did away with the filler. The cartridge had a tiny hole punctured by a thingie in the atomizer that, on paper, would feed the bridge of the atty. But it didn't and the chinese, having made mass amounts of them, sold them to us anyway. And we bought them anyway and mass amounts of space was wasted on ecf for a little while pissy people struggling to get their fix would alternate between getting a flooded atty or dry hits. And zillions of you tube videos were created to show various methods to get them to work and zillions argued with two or three people who swore that if you just widened the hole and stuff it with blue foam while laying flat on your back and holding the pv at a 98.3 degree angle you would be fine.

It's not a reliable system. And 510 slim auto batteries are notorious for being weak. The "T" batteries sold along the same time were supposed to bring them up to par with the 808s at the time. 3.7v and regulated. I don't know about that though. I still see a lot of 510 slim users making the jump to mods pretty quickly.

BUT...if you get two batteries that you wind up liking for that price, that's a good start. You don't have to use the atty. You can always experiment with various cartos and clearos. They make some good ones now.

For those who like hands free,

Just got a couple of these in the vapemail last week:
SmokTek eGo 1100mAh Automatic Battery, no buttons to push!

Well, actually got one black one chrome :p

They're about the same diameter as a 650 ego, about 1 1/2 times as long, and very light.

Tiny air hole for activating the switch. Seems to be good so far.

They're 510 and ego threaded, and fire T3 and Evods really well.
