Many vapers prefer the manual especially for dripping since the battery is sealed. With auto batt's, if you flood the atty the juice can run into the battery and ruin it. Also, auto's seem to be quite sensitive as a loud noise, wind, etc. can set the battery off. You are correct, with the manual you push a button and you have more control over the length of your drag. I have tried auto's and I just do not care for them. I prefer manuals but as with anything else, it is a matter of personal preference. Happy Vapes!

I have a removable pen clip from a small screwdriver that fits perfectly, keep the ecig in my pocket and when I set it down it won't roll away.

THIS...

...has to be one of the best ideas I've seen so far. [A+, Would read again!] :D

heh- I just happen to have a bunch of those old pens / mechanical pencils with the removeable pocket clip. :thumb:

I prefer an auto battery mostly, but it all depends on what I am doing because of the loooong drags I like to take. If I am doing a project that requires both hands, like playing cards, I would rather have the auto battery so I don't have to stop for a drag. But, for most situations I prefer the manual battery because it won't cut me off from those loooong drags.

I'm lovin' both of them! I am primarily using cartomizers on a Kr808 and have found that each one has it's own personality with "the draw". Some seem suited better for the manual and some for the autos. So I mix and match!

If I had to pick one, I would probably lean towards the manual. Even though I don't drip with the cartomizer, my refilled carts can be quite juicy sometimes. (I don't always use my glasses when I should:)!) Then I don't have to worry about it leaking into the battery and killing it.

I do use a 401 adapter and atty on my Kr808 at times (I like the subtle flavor difference the 401 provides) and then I always use a manual -- again, no juice in the battery is always a GOOD thing.
