I just figured out the secret to success in replacing the flavor wicks with these things is: tweezers and fingernail clippers...

What! Fat fingers don't work.
I replaced that small pair today with a long piece of 1.5mm that goes up the tube about an inch on each side. Probably just me but it sure seems like I am getting a ton more vapor. Left the original coil wick as is.

Great idea..I'll have to give that a go on the next go-around...along with taking it out altogether..
Sure your not have the gurgles/flooding without the flavor wicks? What VG/PG ratio you using without the flavor wicks?
