AVE Boba's Bounty in my hands at long last. First impressions from someone who has waited forever.

I did a trade on classifieds last week (30mls of AO for 30mls of BB) - which I received in this morning. Threw it in a drip atty, 2ohm at 4.3v and fired it up. Everyones different...or the same...or differently the same but to me it had a very pleasant taste. A mellow chocolate with graham cracker mixed with a light pipe tobacco. I get the oatmeal raisin comments some have made as well...though that might be suggestively put there. I've only been puffing it for a few mins but I could see this being a nice "relaxing" vape sitting watching the sunset, with beer...or a sunrise with a cup o' joe.

Overall I like it...and will certainly be ordering more to add it into my vape supplies.

I just got some Bobas Bounty in my vapemail yesterday. Had to see what the fuss was all about. I tried some in a carto and also in a dripper...tasted something like a malty, mildly chocolatey graham cracker to me. Not bad, but nothing special. It was just ok. Didnt blow me away, but it wasnt a bad vape. Epic vapor production, but that's to be expected. I'll put it up and let it steep for a week or two and then revisit it....

After i read "Halo" and "Chemical tasting" in the same sentence, i knew my tastebuds were completely opposite of yours. But thats just how it is we all have different likes and dislikes. After trying many different vendors Halo is probably the best one for me. As far as Bobas Bounty, I love it, will it be my adv no probably not because ordering it is a hassle. The best way to look at it is like this, now you have tried it and you know its not for you. Hell just even getting some to try is an accomplishment and now you can check that one off your list.

Agree, Ahlusion is number one in my opinion. I didn't care for Blue Fairy, but Lemon Fairy from Ahlusion is perfect.

I just wish I coukd get this sludge to wick with my gear. Used everything I have and cant get a consistent vape out of it. Its not going to get thinner as it steeps right?

Also...I don't see what the big hub-bub is about getting Boba's. They open 8am PT...I'm ET so at 10:55 I had my browser open and had registered an account with them, and a 100ml bottle of Boba in my wish list. At 11:00 I kept hitting my basket refresh until the store opened...hit checkout...entered in CC info and done.

Its not like trying to get Pluid or anything.

I was hesitant to buy into the hype at first. Partly because I like solid throat hit and am generally not a 100% VG guy, but I can safely say, 6 days after getting boba's, I never plan on running out ever...

I know everyone has different tastes, but mushroom of any sort is SO far from anything I get out of boba's that I think something went wrong. That isn't to say that boba's is the undisputed best vapes ever, but it is amazing and will probably be the occasional ADV for me and definitely an EDV if only a couple of bumps. Heck, gorilla juice has even grown on me enough that I always drop my tank of it on with my coffee now.

A week ago, I finally managed to place an order for Boba's and Gorilla Juice. These were the two liquids I absolutely had to try. Ahlusions, Five Pawns, Halo, HHV, AiV, BBW, Vermillion River, Want2Vape, MBV, and many more -- these were second class vaping I was told, holdovers until I could secure that long-jonesed-for hit of AVE's liquid gold, a juice so good it's ordered by the hundreds of milliliters when it's on hand. I'm sure you can see where this is going, but wait: I wanted, god I wanted to believe the hype. I did a dance as I tore open the mail. I wasn't about to become the cynical contrarian, crapping on a beloved flavor for the ....... of it. I legitimately wanted to love this. I had a new tank ready to test it. I freshly coiled my IGO-L to compare, prepared to give this its due with every bit of hardware I have on hand. It would've been OK if it wasn't hallelujah on one hit. All I wanted was some insight into what it might become with a serious steep.

My first draw was earth shattering. I never, never expected a dirty mushroom flavor from the world's most sought after liquid. I tried a few more. OK, my coil, my damn coil. Swap it out. Ugh. IGO-L time. Uh oh. Build another wick and coil for that bad dad, cos this can't be. Blarrrrghhh. So here I am, still vaping what tastes for all the world like any one of HHV's awesome RY4s that someone has dropped dirty, moldy mushrooms in wondering what went wrong. How is every single Ahlusion liquid I have on hand infinitely superior? How is everything I've ever tried with the exception of Halo's most perfumey, chemical-tasting oddities better than this? I intend to let it steep for a week or so but if this persists, anyone want to trade say 28 or so mils of Boba's for any, literally any, Ahlusion liquid?

First time I ever tried boba's it was from a 50ml bottle that had steeped for 3-4 months. It was pretty darn good and deeply flavored.
I bought boba's for myself only about 1 month ago and it tasted nothing like the steeped version... Steep it for a long while and then try it again. if you still hate it, then sell it..... it will be worth some $$$ to someone that doesn't wanna order from ave and steep their own stuff for that long!

I'm thinking this might be why my new cotton ball wicks in my drippers are burning in half after vaping them for 10 minutes. I'm not using too much cotton, but they're getting fried immediately, even after letting the juice absorb for 2 hours. Hmmm. Guess Boba's was meant for silica?

Figured I'd update my experience with Boba's in all fairness. The customary caveats always apply: I don't mean to disparage AVE or Boba addicts. Taste is subjective and when someone else isn't feeling what you love it's no matter, only shared opinions. Due to Boba's megastar status it is totally interesting for me to hear about others experiences with it as well.

Anyhow, 24 hours later I figured I'd try another taste or two. Taste hasn't changed but I might be better able to explain what I'm experiencing. As soon as I start to sense some graham cracker, a strong woody mushroom flavor overwhelms all else. Vapor production is extraordinary and throat hit is weak-to-mild as I'd expect from an all VG juice. I've had miracles happen with a few other long-steeped liquids so I'm willing to wait this one out. I also tried the Gorilla Juice today. I suspect there's something nuanced and sweet sitting beneath the dime-a-dozen artificial banana blast but for the time I can't taste it. I'm more willing to write this one off altogether because I can't stand the Runts candy "banana" business although I love actual banana flavor. In my experience stock banana additive never approaches the taste of actual banana no matter how long it's left to steep. Cheers.

I somehow was put on an addiction to Boba's Bounty.
Bought some at a local vape shop.
I am pretty sure it was way over 30 days steep.
Flavor was "AWESOME" I loved it!!!!

Yesterday I finally got my 200ML order
Tastes nothing like my LiL 10ML bottle.

On a lighter note.
GLV EL KAMINO
Was a flavor burst right out the mailbox.
OMG steep away Boba I am on this
EL KAMINO and just blown away.

Is it BB's No. It's similar.
Unsteeped and just flavor galore.

I appreciate the update and can echo what the above poster said about his new bottle not tasting like his smaller steeped bottle. I am actually vaping some steeped BB and brand new BB. I don't get ANY of the mushroom taste you mention but I can definitely tell a big difference between the two bottles. Night and day. Just let yours steep away.

As for the El Kamino, bleh, I cannot stand mine. I have 24mg BB and it is FULL of TH while the El Kamino has zero, and I mean zero TH. Any want 9ml of it or wants to trade for something PM me. I also have Atom Bomb and some razzberry flavor from GLV to throw in

Yeah I ordered some El K when AVE was down and I started vaping it right away and loved it. And so did every analog smoker I let try it. Just got some Bobas that steeped for over a week and it really needs to steep wayyyyyy longer. It's terrible when you first get it and I really wanted to like it. I'll give it more time and I'm sure I'll like it.

I'm about to try Gorilla juice once I get my Evods today but I'm not expecting too much.

Boba's just didn't do it for me. The raisin bran taste just over powered everything. Dripped a drop or two daily for a month and a half and then traded it. Didn't grow on me or improve greatly with steeping.

I do really like El K though. I know that it isn't a BB clone, but I find something in it that is similar. My tongue picks up more notes of flavors with El K. BB was just raisins to me. Taste is a finicky thing.

And I do think hype has a lot to do with Boba's success. When AVE was shut down it built a cult like following. People want what they can't have. Much like Pluid and Grant's.

Honestly my first few days on Boba was
not that great. IDK call me crazy but by day 3
all my other juices tasted like poop
and Boba did not have that original taste.
It kept me guessing. What is in this?

I just dripped some a minute ago and I mean I get ZERO TH. I have vaped it by dripping it then tried in a atty/tank config and finally with an Evod Bcc. Its like I am vaping air. I bought it in the 18mg strength. My BB delivers some TH though

I also tried the BB and GJ. My impressions on BB was golden grahams cereal. SPOT ON. I did not care for that cereal so needless to say I didnt like BB. GJ tasted better but just like BB with GJ. I like GJ when I got the banana but the taste changed. Sometimes I got the banana, sometimes I didn't. It was weird. I was not impressed. Since then I have tried bees knees and flue cured. They both are very analog-ish. Very dry flavor. Almost sucks the moisture right out of my mouth. I'm not sure about these either. May have to give ahlusion a try.

I got my first order of BB last Friday. I didn't like it but I didn't hate. At first it tasted like nutty tobacco. Then slowly gets sweeter and now it tastes like prunes or tamarind. It hasn't changed much after 4 days but the rest is steeping in my closet. Going to try GJ tonight and hopefully I like it better.
