AVE Boba's Bounty in my hands at long last. First impressions from someone who has waited forever.

I got mine today too and even though I know it needs to steep, I had to try it after months of reading about it. So I'm sitting here vaping on it as I write this.
I don't dislike it, but it ain't really blowing my skirt up yet. It's an interesting flavor, unlike anything I've tried. Not really sweet, not tobacco-y, not fruity...I have no idea what I'm tasting! I've found that sometimes I have to give juice a little while to grow on me.

I also got my first 100ml of Boba's the other day and it's the best vape I've had so far. I'm using a tank and carto and getting great flavor. I would imagine the flavor is probably not going to be as good out of a pro tank/atomizer.
Can you give me a few examples of what liquids you're comparing it to?
Halo Tribeca, Freedom Juice, HHV Legend, Shadow and Huntsman. I've only been vaping a month and a half though but I'm going through a lot of different juices trying to find some adv's. Boba's is already at the top of my list and I've got Gorilla Juice and Hype on the way to try out.
Interesting. I like all of those. I was curious if perhaps we had radically different tastes. The closest comparison I have so far though is any number of liquids from HHV (e.g. Dragon's Fire, Legend) but with the curious/foul taste on the exhale.
Im getting nothing from my fresh bobas and gorilla juice. Finally got my protank but still getting bland flavor and no throat hit. Switch to my other steeped and fresh juice bam everything you want from a vape.
Ive tried taking flavor wicks out, new coil heads, take rubber gasket off and the best I can describe bobas is stale raisins.

If the OP is tasting shiitake mushrooms, then please direct me to whoever makes/uses/includes those things! I love mushrooms (morels, portobellos picatta-style, etc.), but I've never had a mushroom that tasted like honey teddy grahams and raisin bran...

When it comes to juice, taste is very subjective. It's also subject to a number of variables. What delivery device are you using? A clearomizer, a carto tank? What voltage/wattage are you firing at?
I use Smoktech 2.0 ohm single-coil, single-hole cartos in a Smok pyrex carto tank for BB at 3.8 volts on my Provari. I do, however, punch one extra hole on the opposite side of the factory-drilled hole. I prime is via "drip and flick", and I get amazing flavor and vapor production.

the hype made you run out and buy it - but many...perhaps most people who love it didn't like it the first few days... or week either...
didn't you read that anywhere? in almost 4 years, I have rarely heard anyone like it immediately... I was more than underwhelmed at first... by day three or four, I was in love with it...
this is pretty much the case with any hyped liquid...
there's no magical juice -
few people are still in love with a liquid a month or two after the write the best review in the world for it.
there are exceptions of course...
and bobas remains a highly loved liquid despite... it's been hard to get since I started ordering it in the spring of 2010... because many people like it.
read enough reviews of it and you'll see there is a lot of consistency in reviews...
rarely does anyone love it right away... rarely does anyone describe it as sweet or delicious...
anyway, I say hang on to it for a month before you trade it. you might love it or even like it in a week.
I'd also suggest dripping it -
I haven't bought it it in more than a year,,, I'd like some, but I won't "go crazy" over any juice... no juice is that good -
last thought... one of the major draws of bobas wasn't just the flavor, it was the performance... thick juice... major clouds of vapor... not overpowering in any way... easy to vape all day...

I wasn't a fan either. But baccy flavors are very hit or miss for me. I love pretty much all from HHV, and vermillion river, but other well regard ones such as the bobas, goodejuice and ahlusion were well... gross, to me. I think I prefer sweetness and a tobacco undertone rather than full on tobacco. I have no desire to recreate the analog experience, and I think a lot of other people are. So on note, I think the ones I mentioned are doing a great job at putting out authentic tasting stuff.
So I'm glad to hear there are others out there who also aren't fans of it and its not "just me".

I'd love to try some, I just can't figure out how the hell to order from their site! I added some juice to my 'wishlist' several days ago and its still not available for purchase! Been trying to buy from these guys since before they changed their website a month or two ago.

They open at 8am Pacific Time and close when they have reached their order capacity. Order right at 8am and you're golden.
Does your order just sit on your wish list until its been filled? My Boba's Bounty has just been on my wishlist for a few days now. Seems like it should have been picked up first thing the next morning and made available for purchase if I didn't catch them on the day of.
Or should I clear out my cart and try to order from them again right at 8am? I might try just giving them a call too.
The thing to do with any new juice that doesn't knock your socks off right away is to sample it briefly every day. I have a number of juices that I didn't think much of at first or didn't like at all....but slowly grew very fond of them. Another good reason to do this is that way you get to see for yourself just what steeping does for it. With BB, at first it was so distinct with the honey taste, then the graham became more apparent, and it just seems to get more and more complex (and subtle!) as it ages! I haven't had any for quite a while now, but no prob, there are plenty of good ones out there. Lately I've taken a liking to Fuzion's Everlast. It's a very refreshing cherry-limeade kinda thing, and as I type, I see that my Protank is down to the coil with the last of it that I have. Sob! Another that I've taken a liking to recently that I didn't care for when I first tried it is Janty's RY4.

I thought Halo tasted like sewing machine oil, so of course, the only other juice I had in my posssession, was Boba's Bounty and I liked it.
I then bought some Heather's Heavenly, and disliked all of it, so that was the first $50 I *wasted*....yet so many people love their juices.
See where I'm going here?

Ahlusions is very good, too, and I also like The Plume Room.
Once in a while, there's some lesser known juice that knocks my socks off. That nobody even ever talks about. They are out there.

Just got my first bottle of Boba's today. I do like it, and as others have stated: I do taste the graham cracker and oatmeal raisin tones. It is good, but IMO the hype is bigger than the juice itself. However, since I can already say it is good out of the bottle...maybe after letting it steep for a while, it might live up to it's hype. At the expense of being flamed, I think Swagger from Pink Spots is better as of right now.

For me, it's not just the flavor that does it for me with Boba's. It's that it is just so satisfying. It absolutely hits the spot for me. That has a lot to do with the "fullness" in the liquid, as well as the vapor on exhale. But there is something else going on there too. I don't vape it exclusively, as there are just too many good liquids out there, but I certainly could.

I got my first Boba's last week and after my first toot I could've sworn that the flavor was dogturd-raisin.
As I was choking and trying not to puke, my wife came in and complimented me on the smell of the vapor. So I let it steep, cap off in the garage overnight. Tried it the next day and...still not liking it, but not loving it either (the dog-turd flavor was more muted). Another day of steeping and YOWZA! I'm really liking this! Definitely raisiny, almost fig-like with graham cracker and a sweet, rich tobacco finish (that was totally absent 5 days ago).
Hopefully it will get better for you with age, at least you can get rid of it easy. Real easy.
Also anyone who thinks Ahlusion is 2nd rate is nuts. Blue Fairy is a staggering acheivement (IMHO) and while not an ADV it is definitely Every Day, and I'll never be without it (if I can help it).

I did exactly the same thing ordered 30ml 12mg hype,gj,bb. Hype is great but i can't say the same thing for the rest
