This really sucks. If they are trying to lose their customers, they are doing a damn fine job. What communication? No emails, no updates, and now the site is down. If anyone knows of a juice even remotely like Bobas or Gorilla Juice. Let me know, I,ll buy it within the hour. I'm hoppin friggin mad. I am now going outside to jump on my favorite hat for 15 minutes.

Catskill mountain vaper makes a juice very similar and is extremely cheap ($15.50 for 4 ounces shipped) but there is a lot of unknowns regarding the vendor. I made a purchase and really like the juice but will not order from there again. There is a thread here somewhere with a lot of people's experiences, check it out

I'm getting an SQL Database Error from avejuice.com. As an I.T. professional this tells me they are most likely installing a new server and website platform and configuring it. If the site was "completely down" there would be no host answering the http requests whatsoever. I'm betting they're mid-install/configuring the new site platform and getting it linked to the SQL Database, e-commerce platform and payment processor. I'll bet a bottle of juice they'll be up in a few days.

I've read about Boba's and Gorilla Juice so much I finally decided to try it RIGHT when the site went down. I've been checking every day since then. Can't wait to get some of that stuff and have a vape.

Also, if AVE reads this thread... I saw some people say you're LOSING customers; however, THIS new customer appreciates that you found out you had a security breach and went as far as re-building your ENTIRE SITE to make sure our information is secure and safe. You've got one customer RIGHT HERE who will stick with you for just that reason... (as long as I end up liking your famous juices!)

some are getting mad that they have been offline for quite sometime..well at least they're doing something about the fraud charges and rebuilding a website for you kids that are complaining. which other vendors have taken this type of action to make sure that your info is secure to its highest ability?..yeah exactly NONE! they're revamping their whole website and credit processors ffs! if you're not a customer anymore keep it to yourself we understand if you vent to the forums the first time but you keep repeating the same thing over and over..we got you! you guys are beating a dead horse

That's weird because none of the other venders I use have any of these things going on

that's because none of them care for your information. Ben took the risk of shutting down his business temporarily to secure his customers information. IMO other vendors just dont care as much as ave does. shutting down a business temporarily costs a ton of money especially an online business. but guess what im most certain that all the cry babies (not calling you a crybaby directly) will order from ave once it goes online.

They didn't either... Otherwise they wouldn't have had card data on a PCI compliant server in the first place.

Not likely, more like the Processor revoked their cert until they come into compliance.

Yeah I do web and graphic design as a side hobby and from experience setting up and configuring blogs, shopping carts and the like they're definitely look to be setting it back up. If they moved hosting companies they might have the SQL (database) server on another physical server so you can't use localhost as you could if it was the same server. Also they could just be using the new site with a different SQL host and haven't changed the config file in their cart to point to it yet.

So with the site in it's current condition I see it as a good sign.
