Only read this if you promise not to laugh :)

The idea of 306 atty with long drip tip (got them both); and you mention a small tank 2-3ml I'd guess, with HOLE PUNCHED for feeding.

Ok, approx where on the long 306 atty tube would said hole get made? (that is, how far above the actual 306 wick?

something with a small 2-3ml tank with the taste of a 306 atty would rock

A hole would definitely work, Vego. You can already put a 901 atty in a short tank with no modification needed, would feed through the hole in the side (the same way the Fog and the AFS feed). I've even seen a 306 atty with long drip tip stuffed into a tank, just needed a hole punched for feeding and good to go. Or it could feed through the connector end much like the UFS (through the holes in the sides of the connector).

I haven't heard anything about this tank other than this thread, but I'm curious, myself

I never had any luck with the bonuts,

couldn't roll Joints in college,

can't roll a Bonut, ....

but can Trade AAPL :) so all is not lost

This could be awesome! I can't stand cartos, but even with bonuts dripping can be tedious. I'll be watching, and hoping for a reasonable price

Interesting. But wouldn't just an open hole, without a wick, allow the atty chamber to flood? I'm not insisting this would definitely be the case, as i don't know... which is why I'm asking. This is why I thought a carto, where it's pollyfill acts to regulate the inflow of juice, was the preferred device for use with a tank.

Although, to be honest, I'd much rather see the wicks removed from the equation altogether.

No laughing here ;-) There was actually a video posted of it somewhere, I can't recall where offhand. I don't remember any details, though, and didn't actually try it myself. If I can find it again I'll give the link

EDIT: video has been removed, but here's the thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-reviews/229289-mwa-atty-tank-set-up.html

Not necessarily. As long as the hole isn't too large the surface tension of the juice would prevent it from flooding into the atomizer and would only feed when suction was applied (taking a draw). This is exactly how the Fog and AVS/AFS work with 901 attys, feeding through the existing hole in the side of the atty ;-) Sure, the design can be problematic based on the variables (juice viscosity, juice ingress vs rate of vaporization, aggressiveness of draw, etc), but with the concept stripped down to that basic premise it does work.

Did someone say 306 in a tank :2cool: yup been using them for sometime like this, but the 510 out performs the 306 in my opinion in a tank, looking forward to seeing Hanna's design and trying it out. Kiljoy, I removed the video because I was working on something better.

would you be able to pull off the 306 tank in an Act V3?

I am definitely interested. I got on here last night just to see if there had been an atty tank built to sell. Does anybody have a guess whether it will be a week, a month, or 6 months?

I, too, am a dripper. I do like tanks, but not cartos. It seem I end up topping off cartos too often, so I might as well drip. I love my reo for driving, but I reach for my Darwin most of the time. I am dangerously low on attys, so Before placing an order, I decided to see if atty tanks are ready.
