AVS Tips and Technical Help

Tips learned so far:

1. Make sure your GGTS and AVS is clean.

2. Noalox all threading in the GGTS itself and put a dab where the button meets the brass center pole.

3. Apply vaseline to all threading and o rings in the AVS. Really, no joke.

I understand what you are saying about the AVS orings and threads clyde but I think there are some getting a little confused. Your post is clear to me and in no way suggests anything to the contrary but I feel I must post an announcement on this subject. I have seen references where people are saying to use vasoline on the GG.....

Do not apply vasoline to the threads of the GG, ONLY THE AVS PORTION. We suggest vasoline on the AFS portion because you don't want to get noalox in the juice system. Noalox should be used on the GG threads because current must pass across the threads. Using vasoline on the threads of the GG could lead to loss of conductivity. I repeat only use vasoline on the threads and orings on the AVS portion....

I've found that if my AVS has too tight of a draw with the CR wide open, I have to close the CR, loosen the cr from the batty and then loosen the avs from the collection tank. If I tighten the CT to the batty, and then snug the avs to the collection tank, it solves the problem.

I'm sure Nolax is fine and works great but as of late I have been using a Graphite spray on lube on my threads and it works like a charm.!

I have to unscrew top cap with mouthpiece and blowing to clear:
I don't know why this occurs, please help me.

Does anyone have a recommended method for creating the hole in 808d-1 cartomizers for the AVS? I Like the cartos much better than atomizers. But I don't wan't to ruin a whole bunch in the process! Thanks!

Salt you can use a dremel with a special bit that usually comes with the dremel Kit, the bit starts out at a point and gets bigger, this will work fine, you can also make a jig out of 2x4's and use a nail punch and that works great, I took a old nail punch and put it in my belt sander and made a nice point on it, set up my Jig out of my 2x4's and one quick shot with the nail set works great, The dremel gives me more control however so I like using that best

7.4V you need good flow, VG not so suitable. Use primary inhales, close CR and suck mouth piece without applying power. I prefer 6.4V, less issues.

You didn't mention whether you where using a 901 Atty & connector or the newer style 510 Atty and connector. VG is what I like to use in my set up mostly and I have no problem with it so I disagree that it's not suitable, in fact it is suitable but there are some tricks and learning curves to getting the proper vape. If you PM me I can go over some of these techniques in helping you get your proper vape using VG liquids, there are ways using both the 901 or 510 Atty and I would be happy to show you. Salt try the pointy nial punch or a very sharp point on something. if you drill out a 2x4 or something so your punch can only go so deep and have your carto under the jig it also works fine, I use this technique but like using the dremel with the same Jig so your bit can only go so deep, got me
