Oh yeah, now I understand perfectly. I'm glad you're not my teacher.(Just kidding!)
I didn't think you'd want a whole thesis from me on PWM, so I linked to the relevant article. I tend to write long, wordy posts and I'm trying to get away from that as I'm usually at work when posting here (although it's my own business, so who's going to yell?). That said, I just wrote a long post in the PV subforum, so I'm not following my own advice.
That, and most people don't want to know every intricacy of the device, so I try to keep it short.
