ok so im going to buy some rcr123a batteries i need the 3 volt ones and am seing a few different brands and am seing which ones people are having the best results running their pv at 6v with.
help help help
Well to sum it up, AW has the better quality control and uses higher quality cells in their batteries compared to the others you listed. They also are the most accurate in regards to their mah ratings and tend to have the better C ratings(how much amperage the battery can handle being discharged). Other battery brands tend to stretch their ratings a bit. This does come at a price as AW batteries are the most expensive of the bunch but are well worth the initial investment.
ok my next issue is where to buy the AW ones i was going to order the tenergy ones now but it looke like im going to have to wait from the prices i am seeing. i would need a charger as well unless someone on here has some they want to sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only know what I've witnessed personally...Tenergy batts working fine after good solid beatings. Some over a month old. I have TrustFires and AWs of different sizes as well. All are fine.
Aw also makes a LifePo4 3.2v battery which is what you would need. I recommend Super T manufacturing for AW batteries as his shipping is dirt cheap ($1.25). Here is a link to his battery page.
well said son ... tenergy batterys are good and now have a 3.2 volt battery out green and silver on the label .. there in my opp really good for hv attys not regular attys just my opp.. i have used the yello and silver ones 3 volt ones for a year now with only 1 bad pair ..pretty good in my opp...
I agree with AW. Although they are more expensive, they are not that expensive. You really don't want to skimp on the batteries when you are stacking them for 6v, since there are potential safety issues.
