So I am now 5 days without an analog and starting to feel much better about myself. I actually stopped smoking the coughin nails for a month and a half and when my wife started back on analogs (we both quit at the same time) I would have one in the evening when I got home and before I knew it I was right back to a 2 PAD smoker. I finally told myself "NO MORE!" and grabbed both my lavatubes and started vaping away. In the past 3 weeks I have smoked maybe a pack of cigs, but like i said, NONE in 5 days. Its crazy that I am personally responsible for at least 5 people that switched to ecigs with great success and I went right back to the analogs. I am done with the darn things! I sleep better, I breath better, and I smell better......now if I could only get my wife back on her 510.

Congrats to you for quitting those awful things! I have only been testing the waters with vaping for a week and finding it hard to stop picking up analogs. (my husband smokes too). Finding myself having some of his when he's home. Have ordered various strength juices to see which ones will keep me satisfied and give me a nice TH but not too strong, as I never smoke strong cigarettes and only like a little bit of TH. Anyway, hope it goes well for you now and keep trying to convert the wife back!

Best wishes.

Jacque

Congrats, it is much harder when there is a smoker in the house, I live with 2 smokers. Maybe she will see you doing better and give it another go. Another thing you might try is have her look at what is out and see if maybe there is something different she would like, speaking from first hand experiences here us women are more apt to use something if we like it. Could be nothing more than she wanted a different color, or some different flavors to try.

Nancy thats a good point. I know you girls are into "pretty" things....lol. I will continue to try and angle her toward my direction (without pushing too hard of course) and hope for the best. Either way, I knew that now was the time to quit for me. I felt like a giant was stepping on my chest every morning when I awoke to go to work. Its only been a week and I already sleep better and wake up feeling refreshed.

Will pray for you and your wife to both give up the analogs for good. Congrats on your 5 days. I am still smoking analogs and am fighting to quit them. I know I just should put them down but it is so hard for me. I am sick of the juice I have and can't afford to replace it so I am struggling through right now. I am down to 4 analogs a day and was up to 7 and then before that 2-3 so I need encouragement. I can't afford analogs and don't want them but have a hard time giving them completely up. Reading your post is giving me encouragement to push forward and beat this thing. I like to be in control over myself not the stupid analogs. I was a 1 1/2 pad smoker so I have come a long way but want to beat this giant.

Welldone...for me I think the various flavors have me keep of analogs

I was going to like your post but for some weird reason it doesn't have a "like" option on your post. I don't know why that is. I think the various flavors plays a huge part on staying off the analogs unfortunately right now I can't afford to get different flavors and am sick of what I do have almost to the point where I might decide to quit analogs and vaping at the same time and I don't think that would be fun. I know I need to quit the analogs completely but I am not really ready to quit vaping, lol but it is like eating a food you like over and over eventually you can't stand it and can't taste it much either but you do what you have to do in these circumstances.

I think a lot of the battle for those of us that gave up analogs is the proper vaping experience. I was using a 510t setup until recently & not super knowledgeable about atomizers etc. It got to a point where the 510 wasn't cutting it and on a whim I tossed a big ol stardust on top & it was a very satisfying & more realistic experience in comparison. It immediately satisfied my urge because of the flavor/throat hit/vapor cloud combo. I see or smell an analog now after a few months with a pv & want nothing to do with it (especially with my new ego-c and choice of cartomizer or clearomizer setup)

I have noticed a lot of times if 2 posts get posted close together you have to refresh to have the like button.

Shelly don't give up hope and don't kick yourself either, as like many of us cost is a major issue for you, look for deals going on, like Vape Dudes gives out 15 10 ml bottles of juice every day, you can only get it once, but the code is fbfree if I remember correctly, if they are out today try again tomorrow. They also then have a one time per customer 40% off on a juice order of any size. Other vendors have different promotions so just watch the deals thread here.

As far as still smoking some, you will find a lot of us, and yes me included still smoke some. For me, I do fine til I am talking with my sister as smoking has always been part of our socializing, and she still smokes I go in and the smell hits me and next thing I know I am lighting one up even tho I find I hate them. However compared to the 2 to 3 packs per day I use to smoke I am not gonna gripe over a couple here and there.

How's about tempting her with a jazzy-spazzy ego battery:

I would like to just smoke occasionally but I know all it will take is that one and it will be back to smoking for me. Try to vape first when u think u need a cig and then see if you want a cig after that. And remember, never get down on yourself. Any cig avoided is a good one, but smoking much less is also a plus!
