Sooo, lets see here. I have been vaping for about 5 months now, moving my way through 510s, eGos, SP2s, an Infinity, a Buzz, a Diamante, and now my GGTS.
I use my GGTS exclusively now, unless I am after a very specific voltage for a review video. I have tried various atomizers and cartomizers in my GGTS and settled on 3.0 ohm Boge Cartos at 6V. I have Several sets of TrustFire and Tenergy 3.2 and 3V batteries, but I only get about 4 hours vape time out of each set and it drives me nuts.
A couple weeks ago, I bought an iAtty and started my quest to nail a 1.5-1.7 ohm coil so I could use my chunky 18650 batteries all day. It took me about a week, and roughly $30.00 worth of materials to finally get to my sweet spot, but the coils only lasted a few days before they started to become ineffective to the point where I didn't enjoy my vape.
I have decided to sell my iAtty and what is left of my materials (be on the lookout on the classifieds if you are interested).
So now, I am back to square one. I am getting little to no battery life out of my Mod, which is why I switched to Mods in the first place, and in order to get to my sweet spot, I am stuck using cartos, which doesn't really suit my needs in terms of refilling.
Has anyone had better luck at 6V in terms of battery life, if so, what brand do you use?
Also, do you think I will find any haven in a UFS at 3.7V and an LR atomizer? I feel as though I have placed myself in a position where only 6V will do, which is a shame because I can't get the battery life I want.
Sorry for the ramblings, thanks for any suggestions...
