I quit smoking a long time ago for 4 years. Cold turkey. One night I was at a bar with some co workers and bummed a smoke from them. That was it. The next night I was back to smoking again. A decade later I found vaping and managed to quit again.

The difference from before and now is that if we slip up it is generally not a life changer. Before vaping if you made a mistake most probably you were a smoker again. Now all you have to do is chalk it up as a mistake, pick up your PV and move on.

Welcome back.
Hopefully you will be able to hang in there this time.
It might help if you had another person to help you, kind of like a sponsor in AA.. Lol
There are a lot of people on here that would love to help you keep on track. Just like family does.
If you ever have a question or concern, you can post it here, or feel free to hit me with a private message any time.

After smoking for 40 years, I'm at a little over 8 months analog free.:p

Keep On Bloogin...:vapor:

Just curious how has everyone else been doing?

Yeah i think i need someone to be my mentor! My dad and step mom both smoke so im around 2 smokers constantly. When I go visit my mom she smokes to. I tried to convert them to the bloog but they just weren't going for it. They didn't like the flavors as much as a analog. I'm still not giving up smoke about 10 cigarettes a day - a pack. Only smoked 3-6 yesterday while using the bloog so i can tell a difference just going to have to slowly work my way down. So far today 1 analog. The morning cigarette. My girl friend can't stand analogs so she encourages me.

A couple of hints for you to help a conversion,
We offer 5 non-menthol flavors to start someone out on. You might try buying a variety pack in 16mg along with a pack of SPI in 16mg. That way you would have all 5, plus 16mg is a good starting point for the nic level.

Also remind them that NOTHING is going to taste just like the cigs they are smoking. I don't know of anybody that ACTUALLY enjoyed the taste of cigs when we first started, but we got used to it.

The idea, if they have the mindset to quit, is to find one of those flavors that is close and they can get used to so they can taper off to their quit day, then they might like to go into one of our flavors like cherry, grape, apple or watermelon to "treat" themselves to help them stay off.

Just a couple of thoughts

That always cracks me up when our flavors don't live up to analogs. I never liked the taste of them really although I did like to smell a fresh pack when I opened one. Now I like the non-tobacco flavors and I smoked for 45 years so go figure. And I do love me some RY4! I gravitate toward the sweeter ones. Change is hard for many people and they will find fault no matter what you do. I remember back 17 months ago when I tried Bloog for the first time and it just hit me and I said "I can do this". I never looked back. Good luck!

It seems, Whitevans1, that you have already made yourself your family support here. It is always hard to quit analog cigarettes cold turkey. Bloog is definitely an amazing concept! When I quit analog's my future husband at the time, gave me the ultimadum. Him or smoking. 16 yrs later, I'm still happy with my choice (somedays anyway lol). Now working here at Bloog, I found that I do Bloog often. I use 0mg and am still loving vaping now. If you do need any help or someone to yell at you to put the analog down, we are all here for you! The flavors are awesome, both fruity for some and cigaretty (love that new word) for others. Hang in there, and keep up Blooging!! :vapor::vapor:

I really appreciate all the feedback guys. I don't know what it is about vaping that makes the transition hard but there is something about the vapor that makes having a drink handy necessary. Anyone else feel this way? Total analogs today is about 4-5 still vaping for the most part though. I really hope i can keep up the work I wish i never picked up a analog in the first place! I feel so ......ed for doing it. Peer pressure is 100% real. When I first smoked I hated it but I want to quit. I know cigarettes are bad, but i still go to them it makes no sense!

I have a decent supply of cartomizers and liquid. Roughly 50 full cartomizers and 50 empty. I have a stash of 12 different liquids. 2 battery's and plenty of chargers.

So far my favorite vapes are Bloog: Cherry (Has been since day 1. Looking forward to the 30mg liquid coming out.) Halo: torque 56 ( I would say its a close to ry4 i recommend it. It's my only 30mg bottle at this point.)

I have a roughly 4 packs of Coffee cartomizers that aren't my favorite would love to trade them in for some cherry but i don't think Bloog does this.
