Back up plan revisited

I keep a carto and drip tip in my vehicles in the event I ever drop my REO. I learned early on that when you drop one, its usually the drip tip that breaks (not the REO). The carto is incase my rba ever fails. Well they have never failed.

Today, I went to show how to install a carto and blind squonk to fill it, then went to vape it.

Talk about going back to the third world - and I'm only 6 months removed from using cartos exclusively - the vape (or total lack thereof) was the lamest, weak, tight vape imaginable. OMG, it seems old super_X has been truly spoiled by the RM2, such that I prolly wouldn't vape until i git home if anything happens out and about to my rba.

But why subject myself to needless torture? Effective immediately, the cartos in all my whips are getting replaced with built and ready to rock "in case of emergency" RM2s.

I ain't about carrying kits, cotton, anything like that. Just my Grand. For nearly a year, just my REO is all I've ever left the house with. Has never failed me yet.

In guessing y'all will feel the same. Go ahead, load up your favorite carto. What was once the shizz is now just shizz to this kid.

I've given a couple of boxes of Boges away yesterday. I know I'll never vape them ever again

But you were right about the Grands. Although I like the Mini, the Grand is my ADC.

So, I'm probably going to be 'communicating' with Rob--and this time I'll be sure to order extra RM2s (backups for the backups for the... ad infinitum).

Haha yeah I've already tried that and what a waste of a good few drops of juice lol ! Being I'm on the road almost all my vape stuff is with me non stop i tried a carto to see if it would work for a flavor that doesn't like the reo and not worth the time is all i can say. I'll be ordering 2 more RM2's on my next order from Rob.

Well...... I currently have only five. I'm trying to do with just those but not sure I can hold out forever.

I hear ya man. I set up my friend with my starter Ego kit, 3 boxes of cartos, and some juices on Saturday. It felt like a bad dream remembering how to prime and fill a DCT.
Really makes you appreciate the Reo/Rm2, I'm straight up spoiled now.

I have 2 grands, 2 rm2's, and 15 AW IMR 18650's.

What I carry, is a grand (in my shirt pocket), along with an extra bottle of juice, battery, and rm2 (in one of those little zip pouches from RTDvapor).

Carrying my extras on me, I don't even have to go to the van to replace something. I've never needed the "extras", but it saves me from having to check my bottle, or remember whether I've recently changed batteries before I head out the door. I have the same freedom with my grand that I did with cigarettes...minus having to slap my pocket to see if I had enough cigs to last me while I was out, and hoping my lighter would last until I got home.

Simple is good. Thanks again Rob, you can't even imagine what a difference you've made in so many lives with these REOs

I hear you. My Grand is all I carry. There are enough of us who have dropped our Grands -- no worries. REOs aren't delicate flowers; there's no point in lugging around accessories/back-ups.

i have 12 RM2s, well 11 - i gave one away, which is about the right number to have for 6 Reos! One is a ready to go one in a little bag in my computer case.

I'd have to be really desperate to use a carto - but i would in a pinch if it meant i'd avoid buying any cigarettes.

But the RM2s are the best as far as i am concerned. I have become so bone idle that i will not even clean and dry burn them, just make new wick and coils. As long as HRH does not suddenly spring a load on me that need redoing at a time then i am fairly disciplined about making sure i always have wicks that are ready to fit. It's a nice way to spend a Sunday morning.

I can't say I'm spoiled but I've only used the RM2. It's so good I can't imagine using anything else. Guess I could call myself lucky I read here before I jumped into the pool. I knew the RM2 was the way to go thanks to the good folks at Reoville. I did order 2 RM2's and will prolly do so for each Reo I get.
