Heya Wharf! Yup, we survived here. Well sorta. LOL
I had a 2 inch mortar misfire and exploded about 5 feet from me. Still can't hear to well over the ringing in my ears and my vision is still a little off. But then again the vision thing might be caused by the "other" festivities last night.
Good vibes going out to ya Ruppy! Hope you get your power back on today. Hope you're not getting the heat and humidity that we are getting down here. Holy crap that would suck with no AC.

No incidents at all here... of course that is at least partially because I have an incredibly healthy respect for the ability of fireworks to do some serious damage... and insist on doing anything dangerous myself. I let the wife set off most of the big ones after I prepped them, and let the 16 year old step-daughter set off some small mortars after I prepped those as well. I can't believe how some people would wave fire and other stuff around near their fireworks though!

Hey gang, sorry I missed all the conversing today, it was my 17 hour work day today
but I got an amazing phone call today!!!! We had submitted a project that we did last year and I found out that we won the best in the nation for 2011 and it will be published in 7-8 national publications!!! WOOT!!!!!!!
After 12 years of pure dedication and some amazing breaks and surviving a depression in my industry it feels great!!
OK gloatfest over now.
