It's too damn hot in the city today. The concrete is melting and the pidgeons are spontaneously combusting on the streets! Luckily I will be escaping to the country for a few days tonight after work

Hottest year in a Long time!!!!!!!!!

Not so far in TX Whis... This has been much better than last year! Last year we had almost 100 days of 100+ deg. temperatures during the summer... (the previous record was around 69 days). So far we have only had around 5! Also, we had several days last year that tied the record of 112 plus... This year they do not expect that. In fact, the highs for Tue-Thurs next week are only supposed to be 91!

Good morning Crew! HOT and HUMID here in CT too. Got the big A/C running all day long. Can't wait to see if the electric company is going to want an arm, a leg, or both. Whatever. I'd rather be comfortable than miserable. Sorry to hear about the power outages (Ruppy). Most of CT went through that whole thing TWICE, last year. Most of the people I know were without power here, for one to two weeks. Me, well since I live the next street over from a hospital, I don't think that they let anything shut down our grid......Thank GOD and the electric company for that! Hope y'all are doing your best to stay cool. Have a good Sunday.
