If I can get it to automatically calculate things for me and toggle on and off by itself it would be perfect.

Seems like that should be automatable. If the number of pending orders is more than <maxorders-pending-orders>, don't accept new orders. Disabling the shopping cart is a good first cut at how to prevent new orders while in that state. Maybe you can incrementally creep up on having it fully automated?

Step1: Have a shopping cart enabled/disabled switch, not automatically thrown, in place of the cart show a message that explains that new orders can't be place right now. [Seems like you have a rough cut at this much already in place. The UI needs some work.].

Step2: Have the system automatically disable the cart after <n> orders have been placed. Manually reset the order count and re-enable the cart when you please. [You might be able to stop right here. That might be good enough.].

Step3: Automatically enable/disable based on the size of the pending order queue. Tweek how many orders your willing to have pending whenever you like.

Its not so much the amount of orders as it is the amount of bottles. Since I can handle X amount of bottles daily it would have to be based off of that. Im not a guru when it comes to all this LOL but have learned enough to get by. I would like to do a complete redesign of the site the way i want it to work and with weights and automatic shipping rates calculated by weight and USPS rates but with all the different bottle sizes and weights its sorta hard unless you put in all info.

Sure, it's never as easy as it seem, your site development is starting to sound like a full time job on its own! I'll leave you with two principles we like to use the in the software world...

1) Incremental/iterative development that gradually builds up to an ideal solution.
2) KISS, keep it simple stupid :)

And an example of putting those principles to use. What is the average number of bottles per order? You could use that value as a rough approximation of when to close the door for the day by just counting the number of orders placed (assuming that makes it simpler).

I hope I'm not coming across as pushy, I don't mean to be. Just offering ideas. Also, maybe you could reconsider the Hawaii idea... grow like mad... flood the world with BWB... with AlmightyGod as my witness, i say there is no such thing as too much BWB ;)

Cheers

Hey Don and Crew! Happy Saturday. Spent the morning at the cemetary, my wife's aunt died and she was like a 2nd mom to her so a semi-gloomy day here. At least the weather is nice, sun is out.

Tell Mrs. BB that she is in my thoughts and prayers. Glad the weather played nice for all. You be sweet to her now-you hear!

Don't know if it was mentioned previously, but in addition to these good ideas you could also change the bottle order quantity to a pull-down menu and thereby limit choices to something like, quantity 1, 2 or 3 bottles. Sure, a person could go back in and enter a second order for more bottles of the same item but limiting item bottle count on each order would still serve as a polite dis-incentive to most people and would also serve to spread the love for those wanting to order when, as now, demand is exceeding manageable or desirable supply levels...

Now I'm really glad I put my order in yesterday for: Cafe Mocha, Root Beer and Casablanca @ 12 mg this time because the 18 mg was a little too strong of throat hit for me. About the Caramel cappuccino, it's my new favorite!! I am vaping the casablanca 18 mg from time to time as I can tolerate it. I LOVE the flavor so much and I'm thinking the stepping down to 12 mg will work out just fine. Hope everyone is doing well this fine Sat afternoon :)

After having displeased the Almighty, I ran right off to confession... you know... "Forgive me farther for I have sinned" and all that. Go figure... my penance was to drip 3 drops of Menthol Light followed by 2 of Hunters Blend! I know... i was really surprised by that penance too. Anyway, I've done that now... so i pray that my sins are now forgiven :)
