I think my timing will be just right for when RY4 and Honey Flu Nut get back in stock. As much as I love the other flavors, I think those are the two I am settling on nicely. Strange, as the HFN did nothing for me when I first got it, but wow, how times change.

:)

been vaping a well aged bottle of HFN for the last two days. Breaks my heart that i'll be finishing it today. A nicely steeped bottle of HFN is a wonderful thing. Great flavor, great vapor and OMG TH for days!

Jed.. It's sorta like the Nike commercials but instead of "Just do it" it's "Just vape it" and enjoy! :)

I gave up a long time ago trying to analyze Don's brews because it seemed like when ever I thought I figured out what I was tasting I tasted something slightly different the next time I vaped it. I have now conceded to just setting down with a bottle of Don's magic and vape away into vapping bliss. :)

yea guess you got something there....think I am progressing to that point
guess will have to create some mental ejuice categories
  • describable
  • moderately describable
  • somewhat describable
  • indescribable

eJoker blend...between somewhat describable -->indescribale

Good day, crewpeople! And of course a double good day to our hero, Don.

I'm not a regular poster, never have been to any forum, having burned out on Internet chat over 10 years ago. But I do read this thread daily for some odd reason, so I feel like a part of the crew, albeit a rather silent part.

My stock of e-juices has become about equally divided between BWB juices and Gourmet Vapor juices. I used to be into Halo, but their flavors are so overpowering, I handed them off to my wife, who still seems to like them. I have a smattering of other juices from other vendors I've sampled and never really took to. Some I ordered or kept simply as mixers, to add a little flavor to some juices that need a little boost or a little alteration. All in all, I have way too many juices on hand!

I'm a little troubled by a few things as regards Don's brand and the way he is handling his unexpected success. I have seen that others here seem to share one thing with me: I now feel guilty when I place an order. I hate to add to Don's burden! So I find that I'm ordering more from GV and less from BWB lately. I've succeeded in concocting my own version of Casablanca, for example, so I don't need to put Don to any trouble over that particular flavor anymore. I don't feel guilty about that as much as I would ordering the Casablanca from Don, if you understand my drift.

I've also been wondering why so many of you are bouncing around this forum promoting BWB when Don already can't keep up with normal orders. Why would you put that additional stress on him? Let me give you an example.

My wife is the appointment secretary for a small one-doctor office offering psychiatric therapy. There is always a long waiting list of people wanting to make appointments or begin therapy, and if there are cancellations she has no problem filling that spot from the waiting list. This doctor is overwhelmed with demand for her services. So why would she advertise?? She doesn't.

Don is overwhelmed by demand. Yet some of you are doing your best to drum up more business for him. I don't get it.

If Don wants to expand his business, then I can see the need to praise his products far and wide. If he wants to expand, there are several routes he can take to do that. Or he can simply raise his prices to thin out the riff-raff, so to speak. The latter is the most common practice among businesses growing too fast. Work fewer hours for more money. Is this what you want him to do?

Personally, I would advise Don to find a way to split his duties in such a way as he can keep quality control over the product, perhaps only doing the "brewing" aspect, and farm out the packing and shipping. If this isn't possible, hiring someone to come in and help is a logical step. But both of these involve paying someone else to do what he is already doing. That means he'd have to increase his volume, and maybe prices, too.

Don, if you'd prefer to keep your business the size that it is, with you doing everything yourself, I think you need to tell your fans to stop advertising your products! You're growing too fast, bud!

Personally, I don't have all day every day to see if the store is open. If I go there and it's closed, and I need something soon, I'll probably order from GV, if possible. If it's unique to BWB, I'll keep checking when I can, but it is very frustrating, and kind of irritating, to visit the site and see that I can't place an order. I'd rather be able to order when I can and be told it will be a week or more before the order is filled. I don't think I'm alone on that.

I'm sure your die-hard fans will pounce on some of my advice as some sort of criticism, and they are entitled, but I'm also a fan and I do consider some of your line well worth the wait. I just hate showing up to shop and finding the store closed. I'd rather be told it will ship next week, or back-ordered for three weeks. But when I'm ready to shop, please take my order (and my money!).

Thanks for letting me vent, friends! :)

srcowell, my first thought was what an :censored: that :censored: needs to shut his pie hole, then I finished reading and you know what, you are right, I would really like to hear Don's thoughts on this as well, we certainly do not want to add to his burdens, we love the juice and can't help but sing its praises, maybe that isn't such a good thing after all, thanks sr

Think Don is finding a middle ground for "himself" in order to fulfill the growing need from others. The word gets around bout a good product no matter what....it is a fact of life. As the "word gets around" about vaping as a viable working "good" alternative to analogs, demand will only increase for vaping products and by inclusion Don's business. Don's decision on how to handle increased volume going forward is his own business and am most positive we all want him to "stay" in business. If he completely shuts down due to overwhelming volume and workload it would definitely be an utter disappointment. Most sure there is a crossroad ahead where hard decisions will have to be made but for now you just gotta take one day at time.

I think Don gently expressed his feelings about the promoting thing back at the beginning of this month.

Whew! Ok, tx Don - hey - since you're around, need some biz cards buddy! Don't know if you were following the 'unnofficial' thread, but, 555 was a smash on Bourbon St. - need to get the word out about the goodness that is BwB...

LOL I need to keep the word down a tad, dont want to outgrow my capabilities.
