I have been slowing down on the amount things are reviewed and such of late. A good indication that I dont have much in the way of reviews appearing near the top of the reviews of late. At one point it was 6 to 8 on the first page. I started this more of a hobby than a job and I understand growth. I have hired some to take the burden off of me and it does help but the amount of orders coming in on a daily basis is pushing the time frame back to an unnexceptable level.

I am seeing what I have to do to adjust things to make it reasonable for everyone and the only way I can see to not get buried in orders is regulate what comes in. As things get closer to a balance I can almost give a definitive time when the site will be open for orders. I opened the site up on Friday and by Sat morning had enough orders to do for Monday and Tuesday.

I understand business 101 so to speak and anyone can say I should do things this way or that way, but unless you are in my shoes one never actually knows what goes on behind the scenes, but when I get an influx of emails as to why there orders have not been shipped, why are things always out of stock it tells me there is a issue. I uphold my customer service with high regards and wish there was a easy answer and fix to all of this but I cant just say hey Joe I want you to do all my packaging, mixing and bottles for me and problem solved. As we all know life is not that easy and things dont always work the way we want them but we learn to adjust and figure out a resolution.

I opened the site yesterday for 2 hrs and had enough orders for Wed workload. How is it conceivable to allow it to run constantly and expect to keep up with orders. I have always said if it gets to be a burden and more of a job than a Hobby I would cut things back to a acceptable level I am comfortable with.

I never expected to grow the way I did nor think anyone else anticipated it this way either, but things have to change and until things can be sorted out to work accordingly I can only do my best to fix it.

I'm just glad he's making juice in the first place. If I can only order a certain times I just try and make sure to get what I need. Is it sometimes annoying that it's not open 24/7? Sure I guess it can be and I understand what you mean, but it's Don's business and Don's life. If he doesn't want to make juice all day every day he doesn't have to. As for people complaining about their orders not shipping, I suggest shutting your clap traps before he decides to retire! This is (or started as) his hobby, so why would he want it to become a headache? He's not running an emergency room, he's running an e-juice site. Anything as good as his 555/Hunter's Blend is worth the wait to me. That's just my two cents.

P.S. IT'LL BE IN STOCK WHEN IT'S IN STOCK!
Asking about it over and over won't make it happen quicker!

Things always have a way to work out in the end.

I disagree with this one thing though. I KNEW the first day I tried your brews that the day would soon come. lol

Good stuff man... Good stuff.

Oh... And your brews are pretty good too! :)

Don,

If my comments seemed to be criticism, that's not how I intended. And you're right, nobody knows what it's like to walk in your shoes. I was merely trying to express my POV as a frustrated customer who loves your wares.

I also was advising some of your other friends to dial back the cheerleading if you are already overwhelmed, but that's my prerogative, as I'm one of your friends as well, as I hate seeing you get stressed out by overwhelming demand. We don't want you to turn into the Juice Nazi (ala Seinfeld)!!

I'll continue to be a customer, on your terms. And I'll continue to be a friend... lurking in the balcony most of the time!

When you're ready to sell franchises, I'll be in that line too! :toast:

Ummmm.... Wouldn't that invoke a "panic" rush to get in the door first kinda thing? Think Walmart greeter on Black Friday. lol

No panic rush. Just form an orderly line, and no talking in line. When it's your turn, take one step forward and place your order, then take two steps to your right to wait... and for God's sake DON'T ASK FOR BREAD!! :p
