boy this has got me looking back Papa. thinking about the odd/even license tag gas day. remember the 7 dollar limit?

Yeah, k-space - I was only about 5 or 6 and couldn't understand why my dad drove one car one day, and the other car the next -- turns out, one license plate was odd, the other even! LOL! Oh, and the lines .... what a panic people were in...!
