BananaBoy, the metal one is a Apex UltraMax with RES. It uses a AW protected 17670. The other one is my Redwood Woodvil Reo and it uses a 18650 AW IMR.

They are both sporting Trippy Tips that BillyBoy and another friend sent me.

Bill was going to send me a donut but he changed his mind and made me buy these off from him instead.

edit: but he gave me a great deal on them and only charged me $45 for a bag of them.

It's not a wee atty vappy. It's an IKV 1.8 510 atty. The atty sits down inside the RES so only a little shows.

It does vape really nice - no leakage and a pv I can throw in my pocket or purse without worrying about it turning on. Great for walk with Ben the Dog.

The one bad thing is that you need to keep it polished because it reacts to your body chemistry and turns black. There is also a learning curve in using it - but if I can get through that, anyone can. I've had it since last May.

Yeah, that's the only gripe I've heard about it (didn't want to bring it up cause I don't actually own one). But, how does the tarnishing affect activating the switch?

I haven't had the switch tarnish at all so I don't polish that. I do wipe the switch down every so often - I just don't polish it.

The switch can get finiky at times though.

Cool, just wondering cause the 14440 Apex is on the mod list for me. That RES is nice, cause while I do love dripping the best, sometimes I don't want to...
Does that make any sense? lol!

Ok, ok, except for the fact that I ASSumed the U-Max took a 18650...new to mods, I'm still learning
