Don's juices need time in The juice Cellar. I find the RY4 to be great out of the mail, but the other flavors I have from him are all aging. I don't want to evaluate them when I think they aren't mature yet, so I've refrained from offering opinions on them yet. I have one batch that is three weeks old, and I am going to get them out and play with them next week. I have another batch that showed up last Saturday, and they are going to sit in the cupboard for 2-3 weeks (although dripping a couple drops of Casablanca did give a positive first impression). In a world filled with RY4's I find Don's RY4 to be the best I've had, so I want to be sure to give all his juices their best chance to make an impression.

At last someone who has tried the pumpkin...how can you describe it Christina????

Got some for the wife yesterday and filled a carto for her. To me it tasted like flowery perfume air freshener that you would plug into the wall. Yuck. But my wife loves it, she started naming off all the different flavors she tasted, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. She said it tastes exactly like pumpkin spice.

Definately let them sit open for a week or two if you don't like them when you get them. They will surely change up on you!!!

I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I actually found a tobacco flavor juice that I like and I truly believe it tastes like high quality tobacco...not some strange mix of -who knows what- that other suppliers call tobacco flavor juice!!! Have tried SOOOO many tobacco flavored juices from SOOOO many suppliers ...all were given to a friend...YUCK! DON- YOU SAVED ME!!!

HFN REVIEW:
I got Honey Flue Nut a week ago and immediately placed 2 big tobacco juice orders...a mixture of many tobacco flavors at BWB that have always drawn my attention but due to my past experiences I thought it would be a waste of money to try. I WAS WRONG!! SO GLAD I TRIED IT!!! So I just ordered all of the ones that seemed interesting to me. Unfortunately he has been out of the HFN and the HF (but LiquidXpress just got their stock of HF flavoring back in so I bet Don will have it back up soon)...but I ordered some 555, applewood, maxboro, cherry tobacco, and maple tobacco. When the HF, the HFN & the RY4 are back in stock I will be ALL OVER IT!!!! The HFN is going to be an at least an immediate 60 ml order!!! I'm about to be out of what I got last week. I've been savoring every last drop!!

HFN - I call this COHIBA!!! I'm SERIOUS!! When ever we go to CanCun we always (used to get before vaping started) get Cohiba cigarillos and this tastes JUST like the first drag off of one of those. Almost exactly IMO. It has an amazing natural high quality tobacco flavor with undertones of honey and nut. Not much "smokiness/burning" in this flavor IMO which is why I compare it to "the first drag" of a cohiba...not after the first drag. It almost tastes like the cohiba would taste if you chewed on the end of it a bit. The flavor strength is 4/5, flavor taste/enjoyment 5/5 vapor is 4/5 and the TH is 4/5 @ 12mg. I have a tiny bottle of it that I put a couple of peach BWB drops in and it is also AMAZING!!!

Love the peach, malty and malty toffee too.
In fact....Malty Toffee is up there in my top 2 all day vapes with the HFN.
Vape On and THANKS SO MUCH TO DON & REVIEWERS!!!! The more detailed the review the more helpful!!!
Edit: cut part out - too long

I think just the opposite vaping 0 mg nicotine. Pretty much takes all the fun out of flavor and throat hit. Do not know what i would do without backwoods brew stronger flavors after curing for a couple of weeks.
I'm glad i have them. Before curing i didn't like them at all. After, i will be buying more.
i completely agree. Don has excellent flavors and i mean they are one of a kind. The apple wood is epic. I think it his flavors would be better however if they were stronger. I think his liquids are kind of weak in flavor. I've gotten several of his flavors and they are really, really good. They just need more flavor. I put in a order recently for more applewood and maple tobacco, and i asked for double flavor. Maybe that'll be the answer.
Don has bent over backwards for several people on here and myself included. He's a great businessman and friendly guy. It's refreshing to do business with someone like that.
His stuff is really worth trying.:vapor:

So far the BWB 6mg eJoker is the only e-liquid flavor of theirs I have tried that had significant flavor qualities. Not bad for a 6mg nicotine level e-liquid. No significant throat hit, but its menthol-like qualities at least give it a perceivable flavor impact, and something of a "simulated" throat hit. Unfortunately, I'm not really a menthol person, but I do add a bit of this to my weaker BWB and FSUSA flavors in order to help them out some. Otherwise I wouldn't get much use out of any of them, and I really don't want my BWB and FSUSA purchases to end up being a complete waste. BWB e-liquids can be ordered at double flavor strength, at no extra charge. This is what I would recommend for those that want to try more BWB flavors, but are of the opinion that their otherwise good flavors are on the weak side. The one forum member I know that felt this way and did this ended up being very satisfied.

I tried the Malty Toffee because it has gotten such rave reviews. Ordered it with the strongest specs Don has available to choose from and....flavor is REALLY great (TY to all the people who recommended this juice:) BUT I get zero TH and the flavor seems to disappear after less than 2 hrs of vaping.(I thought this might be due to the fact that I tried it right out of the mailbox. So, I let it sit for a whole month before trying again and nothing changed, at all) Also, I find myself inhaling till the battery cut off (in my case, this is approx. 10-13 seconds on V4L Vapor King) This has never happened to me before and is quite frustrating, on many levels. To top things off, Don is currently out of this flavor:( Please, Don, if you happen to see this post, maybe you could work on fortifing this delicious flavor:)

What nicotine level were you at with that Malty Toffee? I thought Malty Toffee had some flavor potential, but if you ordered it at the maximum optional flavoring level and you were still having problems with it...? For me, a less than 5 second hit on an m402 (which is just a super-mini model) is usually plenty to get a good enough hit...if there is a good hit to be had. You might need to try regularly shaking up the bottle? I try to do this every time before I start using a bottle to fill a cartridge. Are you having problem with this sort of thing using other e-liquids you may have. If this is the only juice you have right now, might be technical issue with your e-cigarette? Are you getting decent vapor production? Low vapor production on a charged battery, with full cartridge, might imply an atomizer that is going out. I've had the same happen to me before. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I switched out atomizers. Always a good idea to have at least one spare of all that stuff. (More, if you can manage.) It might also just be a bad batch of e-liquid. It happens sometimes, even to suppliers that are well known for the consistency of their product. My very first impression of Backwoods Brew flavors was pretty good as well, but shortly after that I seemed to be getting less flavor impact. Maybe this is a similar experience? I'm sorry I have no concrete answers for you, but I would recommend contacting BWB and seeing if they can figure out what might be the problem. It certainly couldn't hurt, and it could also help BWB by giving them some feedback to possibly improve their product line.

I, too, placed an order after hearing all the rave reviews about BWB. I ordered Applewood, Maple tobacco, and RY4 (2 30 ml bottles and 1 10). I have to say I am a little disappointed. I tried all three right after I got them, and the apple flavor was too overpowering (like a strong green apple), and the other two seemed to be lacking in flavor. I am letting them sit, but I have to say that I hope they get better. I have them sitting in the fridge right now, which may be a mistake, but maybe I will take the tops off and see how they do. I have fallen in love with Wyatt Earp from FS and can't seem to find anything that takes its place. Maybe I will just have to stick to that as my all day since I like it so much.

It's pretty well known that Applewood mellows after a couple weeks, come back to it. I've read comment after comment where people didn't like Applewood out of the box, then came back after a week or so and they changed their tune.

Oh and take it out of the fridge ;)

yeah BWB juice needs time....up to 4 weeks in my experience, depending on the flavor. If you like Wyatt, which to me is a heartier tobacco vape, you should try the Tampa from Vapor Station. VS juices are ready to vape right out of the mail, and Tampa @24mg is the best vape version of a full flavor analog that I have found yet. You could vape the Tampa while waiting for your BWB to mature :)

    Worth the wait Fran!!!!

Whiskey are you a Malty fan? I have a small bottle from my first order that is a week and 3 days old from the date it was shipped and it still tastes horrid like a chemical concoction. Is that normal? Dying to find out what it tastes like. Have a small Applewood from the same order and while it doesn't taste horrid it's not ready either.

I have Malty Toffee in 24mg. Tried it out of the mailbox and got good vapor but very little flavor and NO TH at all. It's been over 3 weeks now and despite my best efforts at steeping, shaking and keeping it in a dark place, I have not noticed anything different:( If anything, less flavor and still no TH. This is extremely frustrating because I really like the flavor (what little of it I can detect) but it leaves me completely unsatisfied. It's like the flavor is teasing my tastebuds and I just want MORE! I just placed an order for Maple Tobacco and Waffle. I hope they will be more robust;)
