vaping should not be compared with tobacco.. It is safer..I think it depends of an individual when it comes to selection between vaping or tobacco products..
I agree to the point that if the liquid does not contain any tobacco of any kind, then it shouldn't be lumped in with tobacco.
Just because juice contains nicotine does not make it a tobacco product per se if other over-the-counter nicotine products aren't considered tobacco products (in my opinion).
With that said, my beloved NET's would probably fall under that regulation being the flavor is extracted from tobacco, it would be hard for me to argue otherwise. Same with WTA liquids.
But yeah, just because it resembles smoking and even though some of the juices are named after tobacco, it doesn't make it a tobacco product in my book. Double-so for devices.

I disagree with the context. Both products should be freely available side by side forever. Free choice. I choose vaping and I should never have to give up my free choice for any reason. Same goes for a lot of other things. My life my choice.

+ a billion and QFT.

Oral nicotine consumption, an idea I have been pondering for quite some time now. Take away the smoke, take away the vapor. A simple syrup solution containing a nicotine base. Rather easy to do the math, figure out how many drops per ml your chosen bottle will deliver. Once you figure out the volume per drop of the simple syrup you decide on, you figure how many mg's you want in each drop and formulate your recipe accordingly. Dosing schedule can be decided upon time intervals and volume of drops per dose to maintain a comfortable level of nicotine dosage delivered. A sugar cube, or even a piece of cotton could be used to absorb the dose between the cheek and gum.

I already came up with an idea.... "Lik-A-Nic"..
its one of those push top marksAlot thingies but instead of being filled with ink, its filled with your favorite juice.. simply push the top button and out pops the juice soaked "wick", a quick lick and you get a blast of flavor and nic. Repress the top and the wick becomes safely stored away... wish I had the funds to get it going... I believe it would sell just because it has a kewl factor, probably be a hi selling item in the airport stores ;)

Which nicotine products are those?
Nicorette gum and lozenges, patches... any of the smoking cessation products. I say that since CVS and a few other places no longer sell "Tobacco Products" but you can still walk in and buy the lozenges, gums and patches because they're not considered tobacco products by the FDA, but NRT's, even though they contain nicotine.

And are all properly taxed and lining the correct pockets with each purchase.

I will continually point out that WTA is no more or less a tobacco product than our beloved nicotine. Yep, they're chemicals extracted in pure form from tobacco. So call them what they are one way or the other, nicotine and WTA *are* tobacco products or they're not, can't have it both ways.

With YOUR money, via higher prices. You know the price of nic, how much should a patch cost? Pennies? Why are they so expensive?

How much to develop, create a factory and mass produce a subdermal delivery system thats standardized and safe?
I have no clue. And obviously neither do you.

14 patches cost $24.
Less than $2 each.

Thats pretty damn cheap.

Subdermal delivery system was already in place, no new tech there, Equipment to manufacture was already in place, check, company repurposed area in existing factory to make product. So where do you think all the expense was? FDA APPROVAL. Check my facts, research the company that makes these products and the evolution of their manufacture. Yup, Two bucks for something that cost pennies and sells by the millions.

And I'm the clueless one? Usually you can be spot on with some opinions, but you are just being an obnoxious troll on this one! Whatever, we have to agree to disagree here.
