I can't believe all the fuss being made about ecigarettes. I was a smoker for a good 15 years tried gum all sorts to give up but nothing worked. Then I got a free ecigarette offer and loved it I then bought a bigger one and in 6 months max I had quit.
I know atleast 5 other people who have also quit with them to.
Now I hear in New York the going to ban flavoured ejuice!!! WHY whats wrong with flavoured ejuice? I guess they will say it will attract children to use them. What the uneducated fools don't know is that you don't have to have nicotine in the juice so it's harmles. I mean what can be harmfull about inhaling glycerin and food flavouring?

IT'S just the big tobacco companies trying to ban them as they know they work and there scared. Government to will lose all that tax.

It's just shocking I really can't believe it. Well the sad thing is I can.

Neil.

While it's true there are options for getting around it if it happens, you have to look at the big picture. How many current smokers in NYC are going to switch to vaping if they can't get decent liquid?

Check out the thread here for things you can do to help fight this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/casaa/611368-nyc-flavor-ban.html

I don't know Less...considering that I have never in my life bought anything from a brick and mortar, I think the odds are still decent but maybe not in the same volume.

Ok, but if you have any concern for the millions out there who are still smoking, this is a bad thing. Not only that, it's bad for vapers in NYC and everywhere else too.

Start with NYC, how long do you think any B&M's will last if they can't carry flavored liquid? If there are no B&M's, the only options people will have will be whatever is carried at the gas station/tobacco store, meaning money going to BT. Yes, some will go online or out of the city, but we're talking big picture here.

Now, how long after NYC passes this do you think it would take for another city to pick up the idea and run with it?

I didn't visit a B&M until a few months after I started vaping, there weren't any near me, now there are at least 10 in my city.

In their itty bitty political pin head brains they think they are protecting us from this

They prohibited smoking in airplanes, then they prohibited it in hospitals, then in airports, then in public buildings, then in restaurants, then bars, parks, beaches, anywhere close to a public building and in our own private offices. They did everything they could to demonize us.

They said we were spewing chemicals in the air that were killing innocent bystanders in large numbers. They said we "stink." They called us pathetic addicts and taught our own children to despise us. We were forced to remote areas to huddle in freezing rain and blistering heat. They made us objects of hatred, ridicule and contempt.

Then they sold us nasty tasting gum, expensive but ineffective patches and inhalers, and drugs that made us suicidal and that even killed a number of us. They made it as unpleasant as possible to continue smoking, and yet, despite all their efforts, we continued.

They have concluded that we're hopeless, that we have ignored everything they did to get us to quit, that we persisted in slowly killing ourselves and we're obviously too stupid to live. All that matters to them now is saving their lucrative jobs in Big Tobacco Control on the pretext of savingThe Chiiiiiildren. They don't know or care whether e-cigarettes help people quit smoking. They didn't think of it, their cohorts at Big Pharma didn't think of it, the FDA and CDC didn't approve of it, so it must be no good.

In their minds, smokers, especially smokers who don't quit the ANTZ-approved way, are already dead.

I hope they are also going to ban flavored nicorette gum, right?

And flavored vodka?

Exactly my thought...all that flavored alcohol needs to go too! Can't have black cherry whiskey or cotton candy vodka.

Ban flavored alcohol all they want... I'm of the opinion that my bourbon should taste like bourbon anyway! If I wanna flavor it, I'll let the glass of bourbon look at a Coke can for a second... :D

Hi to all fellow vapers from sunny Florida :)

I have been roaming the forum for some time now, and finally registered so I can ask u guys any questions or put in my 2 cents occasionally :p
I would like to thank every1 for all the valuable information on here - it has helped me tremendously in my transition from the nasty analogs !! ;)

Been vaping for about 6 weeks only, but boy what an adventure.. so much to learn, and so many flavors :D
That's probably what I like most about vaping, along with the health benefits ofc.

I can't believe NYC is even contemplating such a ridiculous action. IMHO it would actually be counter-productive, and open up a huge black market. And who will protect our kids then ? It will only be making things "worse" (not that they are bad now, but you know what i mean).

Anyway, all the more reason to start DIYing ;)
Which i just started last week. Tons to learn still, but so far so good, thanks to all the great minds here willing to share their knowledge . THANKS :)
