BAP owners - have question

I know someone who is considering a BAP mod. The only concern I could think of is that the case is screwed into 3D printed material, and I don't know its durability. How well does that material hold up over time when unscrewing and screwing to change batteries? Or does one need to use the internal charger?

I don't have one but I do know that you can use the usb for charging, making it a once or twice a year when you have to remove the screws for access.

I watched a review last night of one when the dna 40 first hit the street.

Understood; however, can you change batteries every couple days without damaging the threading? it's often more convenient to swap in fully charged batteries, and let the drained ones charge separately.

I would say it's safe if the screw holes had brass or some type of metal threaded insert but I don't think they do.
Pretty sure that it screws right into the plastic.

I haven't heard of any issues with the threading, but I have heard of durability issues with the body.
