Well I have had mine for over a week and I must say that all the reviews are spot on. It lasts me a whole day unless I really go at it. The bypass feature is awesome and the consistency of vapor and hit are great. I love the size and weight and the turn off switch is brilliant for dropping it in your pocket. Anyone on the fence should not hesitate to get one.

What is " The bypass feature"?

Got mine yesterday and have been using it non-stop for the past 18 hours. Nothing more needs to be said, this thing is AWESOME. I have always been under the assumption that direct contact cylindrical mods are the best. Anything with "wires" was less then desireable. This is my 1st box mod, and I can't believe how well it performs. Plumes of vapor, great throat hit, and versatile as hell with the passthru/charger function. The ONLY thing that might be an issue is that it, to me, doesn't seem to be constructed to take alot of punishment. It almost feels like, one drop to the floor, and it might be broken forever. I don't know though. Anyone else have experience with it's durability.

My guess would be the passthrough option, where you can vape while charging.

Exactly! While charging trough a mini usb. I hook mine to a car charger and a wall charger. You can still vape. I have not used a Chuck or anything of the such. But, they appear very heavy and cumbersome. Not so with the Bartleby. It is light and efficient. I just dig it. Also I dropped it once and kicked it across the garage. Picked it up and worked like a champ.

What amazes me is how quick it recharges! What's up with that? Anyone know? Is it the fact that it holds peak charge longer or that cybervex is using a special pcb? I can have it off the cable for three hours, put it back on and while I haven't timed it (I should) seems like the light goes off rather quickly. And it's getting a full charge because if I then take it off it's good for 10-18 hours (ymmv).

Does anyone get throat hit from the Bartleby with 510 atty? I really like my 510 (with 510 batt), but I get no throat hit (unlike my penstyle or KR808D-1, for example).

I've been using the 510 only for my 0mg pacifier vaping (which I do a lot of), because I don't want to waste nicotine juice on a device that doesn't give me throat hit. [Just to be clear: I'm not expecting a PV to give me throat hit on 0mg; the 510 wasn't giving it to me even with my 11mg juice (which is my level).]

Otherwise, I'll send cybervex one of my dead DSE801 batteries and ask him to make me an 801 Bartleby.

Heaven = 801 throat hit + 510 vapor & consistency [= Bartleby?]

Why not get the 510 Bart and some $7 - 510 to whatever adapters. For $14 you can then use everything you've mentioned.

Don,

Odd, my JS with the 801 is for my 'smooth vaping' and the 510 gives me all the throat hit I want but I'm not big on that factor. Throat hit is heat and nicotine (some flavors will simulate but not duplicate) and with the bartleby you'll have that peak voltage for quite awhile longer than the reg. batt and it seems hotter still to me - like DC2 said of his Chuck.

Willy's right on the adapters but given that heaven gifts has free shipping and sells them for $1.99 I'd go there and load up on attys and through each adapter in with the order.

Got my Bartleby yesterday. Haven't used it for an extended period of time so I can't comment on the battery life, but as long as it beats my stock 510 batteries I'm already happy. Hits very consistently.

My only minor beef with it is not a design flaw at all, as I'm not exactly using it as intended. Lately I've been using my 510 with a 510>808/901 adapter ($5 from good prophets, but he's out of stock at the moment) and the 808 cartomizers. However the hole in the top just barely fits the 808s, so the first few times I put them in I had a bit of difficulty. I'll widen the hole a bit to take care of that. Also the connection is pretty deep within the unit, so the adapter does tend to get stuck, and if it stays connected when the cartomizer comes out it's tricky to get out, but I can just pop open the case and twist it off with my thumb.

I will say though, when I used a regular 510 atty with it, it was a perfect experience. It's even smaller than I thought it would be! Can't wait until I plug this in to my computer at work on Monday, then I'll really get the benefits from it.

Also seeing one of these up close will be a good guide for me when I finally start building some mods of my own.

Thanks cybervex!

That's why Janty's (with their recessed connector) adapters use this type at the top (to be able to grab it):

It sticks out of the top and the 510 atty fits inside.

Here's some very nice tutorials on basic box building. MadVapes also supplies most of the parts you would need.

got my bart the other day and the batteries today....just took my first few hits and I gotta say this is a nice lil unit. Very nice to here the sizzle on every button push (which is very smooth)... also very nice to actually really taste the flavor of the juice...and what a nice vapor cloud that comes out.. this is a nice mod and I would recomend it to anyone wanting to get into something outside of a stock 510.. I love the on/off switch and the usb plug in..fast battery charging..You can't beat this deal folks, anyone sitting on the fence on this should hop on it before a possible price increase (supply and demand)...c'mon batteries included..
Great job Jay :) I'm in
