Switched inspired me to fix this thing. I had a math error for a while and pulled it from circulation, then just let it drop because there are so many other good calculators here I didn't need it anymore. But I have a fondness for it anyway, because I made it before I knew anyone had done one.

I added avg drops for each input based on Dan's calculator. Assuming all drop sizes are the same makes mixing that way totally not accurate, but when mixing really small batches drops are the only way to go. I input Dan's values but be sure to test your own dropper for the correct values.

A friend of mine input his flavor collection and enabled drop downs in the recipe calculator, which I thought was a good idea. When I get to work where I use excel, I'll upgrade it with that. You'll be able to add your own flavor inventory then and use it that way. Thanks Brian, great idea.

Well okay, here you go. No biggie, just in the interest of completeness. There are far more functional calculators here than this one is. But it suits my way of working. :) Have fun and vape on!

Sorry Dan, it works for me too. I've never seen that error message so not sure what to make of it. I'll see about putting the file online this afternoon and let you know where to find it. Gotta run now though.

Glad it works for you in OOo Switched. That's what I use at home too. I just don't like to do much development in it because I'm so spoiled by excel's maturity. Can't wait until OO's spreadsheet grows up some more.

It was the Winzip, I tried WinRar and it extracted it just fine. However... When opened in excel here is what I get:
Cant win for loosing :)
Dan
Just curious, are you using Office 07 or Win 7? Both are pretty unfriendly to anything non-ms native. Hopefully the straight file will work for you man. Sorry you're having trouble; that means others will too, which is something I need to fix somehow. But have to go right now. More later, again, sorry.

Hey, cool man, thanks! You made an otherwise really nice day very special. :)

I hope the download issues have gotten straightened out. Sorry for the frustration, I know what that's like.

The xls version you posted works, I am using XP with Office 07. Simple yet effective. Nice job.

Sorry, check a bit lower in the thread for an uncompressed file. I think that will help. Also available at drop.io ECF_DIY. Good luck!

Just wanted to let you know that it seems that people using PC's can't seem to open your zip file. Could be a MAC => PC thing.

Thought I should mention it in case down the road you need to send something zipped to someone.

I got the .xls file and it seems to work good. Thanks for putting in the time and effort on it and then sharing it with us.

Thanks, I suspect you're right. I should probably look into some non-native compression process rather than thinking the Mac would adhere to a standard. :)

MAC's are good machines and have some big pluses over PC's in some areas.

I just know how tragic it can be to send a mission critical, have to have it by 5:00 or else type file and then there is a problem with MAC's not being able to read it. Or the reverse, PC's can't read it.

Once again, thanks for putting in the time and effort to fix the DIY calculator and posting it.
