I am getting more info from my supplier regarding the Powerizers they told us today that they built in a protection circuit inside the battery !! I am waiting for the specs on this circuit and IF it is true , a sales lady told my emp. this info so we will see. I have short circuit tested the BP and IP for hours on end with NO ill effects ! the controller turns OFF and draws micro amps of current ( 1,000's of times less than we use ) when there is a shorted output.

Notcigs protection on all mods that we make
1. Over current protection
2. Over temp protection 3. Reverse battery protection
4. 3 vent holes around the bottom in a circle
5. Short circuit protection
6. On/Off switch built into the bottom cap
7. Insulated inter tube ( to prevent battery shorts , on anodized tubes only ) ,

In light of what is being posted on ECF and Caasa we feel we need to expose the truth about our products, Notcigs brought to market the FIRST fully protected mod and VV vaping we feel that we are being un fairly treated
and want to make sure that the FACTS are presented correctly.

THanks for understanding Notcigs Buzz

Its a damn shame that all we read is that we need to stand together on this and stand together on that then bam, someone that goes out of their way to make a safe product gets included with the rest and thrown under the bus! Typical...
I'm just ranting, feel free to ignore this.

My feelings exactly ! not warranted at all .

> Hell I will provide a unit, if they can break it or make it cause ANY battery issues I will close my forum and QUIT this business.

I've got 14430 trust fires & I am fine with them. My husband has thoroughly inspected all mods in my possession & has concluded that everything from Notcigs is indeed safe. He is also aware that my batts are numbered & I know to rotate them.

Guys... even with vent holes your mod will get so Dang hot in your hand that you drop it. I had a shorted out carto on another vendors high end mod & it wouldn't vape..... finally the spring collapsed & I was even more mad & the mod got so hot it was human reflex to drop it. My husband looked at me & said "are you sure its not a bad top piece?" He doesn't vape but meant carto. Well I tossed that aw-imr (fk) , put on a new carto & I was good as gold. There had to be warning signs like the ones I mentioned before something just "blew up".

I will stack my batts rotated & numbered... repeat after me..

A natural phenomenon takes place in a stack that many cannot explain. The battery closest to the load will discharge quicker than its counterpart. Many theories have materialized over this, but for all practicality, we know it occurs and will leave it at that (in this discussion). You should alternate your batteries in subsequent uses. e.g. If A1 was used on top, A1 should be used on the bottom next time the set is used, and back on top for the following use, and so on, and so on... This will insure a greater distribution of the workload and a more natural and even build up of internal resistance, extending overall battery life. Think of it as rotating the tires on your vehicle, wearing them out evenly.

From what I read about the Powerizers they have " PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) installed for short circuit protection" There was no mention of over charge or over discharge protection though.

I bought the large dynamite bag from dynamiterc, about $19 delivered. Others have been buying liposack or liposafe, you can get those around $12.

Google "lithium charging bag"

Check reviews, some are itchier on the inside, fiberglass is too exposed.

I also picked up a little belkin outlet timer, $8 at bestbuy online. Switch settings for 30 min, 3 hour, 6 hour, then just push a button to start a cycle. Picked up another for the basement, both of them are running power strips with multiple chargers attached.

This happens because the batteries are not MATCHED for internal resistance and capacity ! when you match batts they will discharge at or near the same rate.

J, look on the side of those batts and the bottom of the charger. If I'm not mistaken, that charger is for 3.0v batteries (3.2v charge rate) only and will not work with the Powerizers. You need a charger with a 4.2 charge rate, like the TR001 charger.

Not knowing where your batteries came from, I would not recommend using those with the Buzz Pro.

MAKE SURE that the voltage on the battery matches the charger voltage !!!! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT !!!

A Li-ion charger will show as a 3.7 nominal voltage but a 4.2 volt charge voltage !!!!

A Lifepo charger will show a 3.2 volt nominal charge but a 3.7 volt charge rate !!

Confusing I KNOW , BUT make sure you have the right one.

Well it gets confusing when you compare batts in this size !

there are 3 types
3.0 v CR123 ( Some chargers have a 3.0 - 3.7 v switch on them )
3.2 volt LifePo4 ( use a charger designed for a Lifepo4 battery )
3.7 v Li-Ion RCR123A ( use a 3.7 volt Li-ion charger )

16340 SIZE , these are ALL 16340 SIZE ( 16mm dia. x 43mm long )

these are all different voltages so make sure you know what you have and what charger you use.

Bov keep this for reference please !! we need to make sure people understand the variations.
