Not bad. (Actually it's very impressive for any battery to keep up with the AW IMR 1600.) Looks like the Samsung INRs are better though?
I missed that earlier btw, so that's another recommendation for IrishUpstart.

according to the graph the samsungs are better... i'll report with my quasi test on the #19 when they arrive in 2-3days according to the usps tracking info :). so far the aw 1600's cant be beat when youre vaping at 10+amps lol

it depends. You are using 5 amp test. At 4 volts that is 20 watts. Not to many people vape at 20 watts??? I vape between 5 and 8 watts, because anything more I get a bitter taste.

so it depends. Take the bat's that did well at 5 amps and compare to a high mha bat at 1.5 and 2 amps and they both will perform well, but the high mha batt will out live the the 1600 mah batt by 50%.

So it depends un how may amps or watts you will be drawing?

mechs are not a great choice for low watt vaping

They are a great choice for me, with a 3000 mah bat I can vape 4-5 ml a day for 2= days. No more swamping bat's in the middle of the day or while driving. With my 18000 mah bat, maybe a day, but most of the time I need to swap it out before day end.

So it depends what you what you want?? A 20 watt (5 amp) smoking machine or flavor???

have u guys gone to fluidvapor.com and seen the 18650 battery shootout tests? they test the aw imr 1600mah with the mnke and orb and others up to 10amps. looks like to me a aw wins by keeping higher voltage longer till the batt gets to 3.5v wich is were i concider a batt done for mech mods and low ohm vaping.

You are right that it depends on the amp draw, we fully went over that earlier in this thread. However, it's no real problem to vape 20 watts if you have an atomizer than can vape 20 watts. Such a coil will get the same "flavor" (i.e. same temperature) but far more vapor volume than a coil designed for lower wattage. Many people find that results in more flavor.

As for battery life, you won't get much less with a regulated device, but you will get a consistent wattage throughout the life of the battery, while the mech will see a constant reduction of wattage. Regulated mods can also access lower voltages which is where many high-capacity batteries hold a lot of their extra power. For low wattage vaping you have many choices in regulated mods, it's the high wattage vaping where the choices diminish and mech mods become more desirable choices.
