no need nyc, it was my own inpatients. The batteries were to close to full charge I assume, even though the charging adapter had a red light, guess it was just too close to almost full charge to keep the batteries LED lit.

It would also be nice if this had been announced. A lot of us own batteries already, and if there's a change (which apparently there has been), it would be nice to know what exactly we're ordering. Granted it's a minor change, but still...it would keep people from having to question the change.

I stopped ordering from another popular vendor of KR808-D1's because I never knew what I'd get whenever I ordered. The battery and carto designs changed so frequently, without notice, that one could never be sure what version you'd get when you ordered. And different carto flavors and different size batteries would run out of the old stock at different rates, so you never knew if you'd get the latest design, or the previous ones still in stock. I so hope Bloog doesn't follow that path. Even cosmetic changes can make a difference when you have finally found a product you love. PLEASE be more consistent with Bloog products.

I couldn't agree with you two more Slim and Frick. What I find a bit baffling is that korova got two different batteries in a starter kit. That's a bit odd considering the black batteries were out of stock, shouldn't they both have been the same newer design? I also can't say I'm a fan of the way the new ash cap looks if that is indeed the design there going to use now.

Ya but... when you look at a picture of something on the website, and place your order for that, you don't expect to get something else. I realize it seems like a minor detail, but still.

well one battery is down and it still only lights up for 20 30 seconds blinks and shuts off. I don't know whether it charges or not could be a defective case we'll see..

SO I too now feel like an idiot and am glad I dont jump to definitive conclusions. I was hitting the button on the case once till i saw the cig battery indicator, then holding the button for three seconds. I don't know what this does but it sure isnt how you charge it.

To charge it you just hold the button for three seconds...duh.

I just received a new black mini battery and it is indeed the "new" target style. Haven't popped in the charger yet but I'll report back if it performs and different from my other BMF batteries.

posted this in another thread, but i got one of the white and one of the black batteries, both with the new design, and they function beautifully, and charge rather quickly as well.

Anyway, I'm just going to pop mine off and add some bling instead

Yep, MistressNomad is where I got the idea. ON some batts I had to really work and cut the end cap off cause it was super glued on like she said, so If you try it, just do it on a practice battery that you dont care if you scratch. I have not yet done it to my bloog yet so I'm not sure if its superglued or not.

The few battery's I looked at the end cap comes off easy. It has 2 little slits on each side where you can put something thin and pop it off.
